When we came here we were not hungry and just drank something but the food we saw passing by looked very tempting. Very charming looking place.

Stumbled over this little cute cafe/restaurant by the lake and actually had to come back a second time as their cakes were so good. The view over the lake is impressive and with the lovely sunshine, it was perfect for a break in our hiking and sightseeing.Have the Raspberry Roulade - amazing!

Schliniger Alm awaits the hiker or skier with inexpensive, tasty meals and lovely cakes. The new part is made entirely out of wood, with no metal pieces. The proprietors are very friendly.

Itâs the junior bosses Sabine and Dietmar who indulge their guests with exceptional specialities in the public Mohren Stuben Restaurant in Reschen. Joy and hard work paired with creativity and the desire to continually try out new flavour nuances lead to

A week's trip to Italy and I would normally be after traditional Italian cuisine and wine every night. However, this was in the German speaking Südtirol region very close to the Swiss and Austrian border. I researched the place in advance from a website devoted to beer and this place did well. I turned up about 19:30 and it wasn't too busy. A huge selection of beers served in porcelain tankards was a good plus. The menu was, unsurprising, very dominated by hearty meat dishes. However with the help of the waiter, we selected a vegetarian soup (cream of polenta soup) and a roasted goat's cheese dish which was either a starter or double sized portion as a main. That and a very tasty appetiser and some lovely smoky tasting rye and crisp breads made this a really enjoyable meal. With two beers and the food, the bill came to just â¬27 making it one of the best meals in a long while.

menu is truly attractive, focused on local dishes (mostly meat but also river and lake fishes from neary rivers and Curon lake). Wevwent for river trout, with cherry tomatoes, red onions and potatoes, oven baked in alu-foil: nice. Cold cuts (speck is very good), deer meat, gulasch, schnitzels and more plus pastas and ravioli (filled with mushroom and with wild meat sauce are a delicacy) provide a good offering. Generous portions and prices on the medium range provide an overall good experience. Keep some space for sweets (apple and and hot raspberry with ice / cream, if available). Beers and wine (also bybthe glass) are available.

Malga Resia or Reschenalm can be reached by car(boeh), foot or bike. Driving up de mountain towards Malga Resia you can park the car at the parking located a 40-50 mins hike from the alm. Its a great walk over a regular path not overly strenuous. The alm is pretty busy especially on a week day or with really nice weather, food that is served tastes really good.

We went here after checking on tripadvisor.. the place is really nice and little bit hidden! From there you have a beautiful overview of the lake. The owners were extremely nice and professional, but friendly at the same time. Food? No words...amazing and yummy!! Price in line with other places around. The mushroom-Knodel with salad was UNFORGETTABLE
