This is the bussiest place on the mountain to have lunch. Just at the the end of the gondola and where al skilessons starts and end is Kreischbergwirt. So it didn't surprise us that it could be very busy between 12 and 1 when all lessons end and everybody needs to have a quick lunch before next lesson starts. Despite of this the kitchen manages to deliver an constant quality of food in their self service restaurant. Soups are very good and all other warm receipts are exceptable. Toilets are like most of this restaurants downstairs and that is always difficult wearing ski shoes. Just be aware off the prices of the drinks. A coke for â¬4,- is a bit to much, but who cares, you're skiing and having fun!
Ate here twice while on holiday and enjoyed both visits. The food was nice and arrived quickly. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and wasnât busy at all when we visited, however feel it gets busier later on 7pm+.Friendly and attentive staff, good english.

This popular restaurant gets very busy during the winter season, in particular in the evenings when tourists return from a day on the slope (Kreischberg) and want to relax in a rustic setting with good food. The place is also heavily frequented by locals. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable with most main dishes being priced between E10-12. We had roast beef with tricolore peppers and potatoes; fried pork with French fries; salad with smoked salmon and soup with bacon dumplings. We paid roughly E100 for 7 people, including drinks. The service is friendly and fast. I highly recommend the Seppenwirt.
Traditional Austrian Restaurant, with a lot of different food choices. We love to cook the Austrian style kitchen means we have al the things you have to try when you are in Austria such as "Wiener Schnitzel", Kaiserschmarren and so on. Of course you shou

We ate here twice during our weekend in the area. Not because it was the very best, but well because of other places not being open ;-). The service was good, the food as well, and well there was plenty of beer ;-).

We found this place on a way to Corinthia so we stopped off. We had a burger, which was ok and a salad with hat was supposed to be grilled cheese but turned out to be more of turkish pastry with cheese. Dissapointing. The garden is ok, service was fine. The prices were averages. We wouldn´t stop here again.

Went here with my family on sunday evening while most of the restaurants were closed. Typical austrian interior with different 'rooms'. The menu is fine with many austrian classic plates. Next to that some plates for kids. Unfortunately no wine card so we had to do it with some local wines which were not bad but not what I really like. Service was oke. Especially the owner did his very best and was a good housekeeper. Be aware; only cash payments and no cards!

We have arrived really late, but we wanted to have a breakfast. The owner took care of us and the kitchen made an excellent egg-breakfats, the ham-and-eggs mad of the famous Austrian hill-ham (schwarzwälder schinken) got great taste. The coffee and the hot chocolate was perfect, decorated with milk foam.

I had dinner here with my family on the first day of Christmas. It wasn't very busy while austrian people celebrate christmas on christmas eve and during lunch on the first day of christmas. Looks were typical austria with all different kind of rooms so everybody has a little bit of privacy. Dinner was nice, we had some soups and after that some fish and meat and everyting was well prepared. Nothinh special but just fine. Wines were good and the kids loved there dessert. The restaurant wasn't very expensive so if you search for a good austrian kitchen in a nice environment just go there!

After a walk from Murauerhutte to Frauenalpe and back we stopped here for lunch. Run by a young and enthusiastic couple we had some typical Austrian dishes and some drinks on the terrace. Nothing special, but the atmosphere makes it worthwhile.
