We ate here twice during our vacation. A group of 7 people. 6 of us went with the Grill platter which I would highly recommend. â¬14.90 per person for a large platter consisting of beef, chicken, pork, the most fabulous vegetables, chips and pepper sauce. The last friend opted for the fillet steak on the 1st night and chicken fillet on the 2nd night, both of a great standard. Would highly recomment
We enjoyed some lovely and plentiful food, accompanied by gorgeous kid goats on a June afternoon. xxx Fabulous views and friendly staff too.

We entered the restaraunt and wanted to eat with 'la carte' (dinner menu with lower price). And waiter told us, that dinner menu is valid only for smoking area. And if we want to sit in non-smoking area, we should pay full price in dinner time!!!!The worst ever restaraunt in European Union...

They are offering you all delicacies one expects to be served in an "Alm" restaurant. You are close to the cable car, so enjoy Your beer and Schnaps.

A few days off - there's nothing better than taking a visit to the Filzmoosalm.A charming couple runs the Alm together with two realy nice girls who spend their summer there.Every morning they get off early, milk the cows, and heat the kitchen, so when I wake up, it's warm and cosy and breakfast is ready. They make their own cheese - you have to try it. It's so delicious! The Filzmoosalm is perfect for everybody:Kids love the rabbits and chicken in the garden, they can help milking the cows or making cheese. The locals come by in the afternoon for a bread with cheese and talking about live in the Alps.Bike riders and older people take the wide path and enjoy the quiet nature.

This is a charming old underground pub style restaurant. The menu had all the usual items (sausage, schnitzel etc) but also had some fish and prawn options. Our table had the following:Steak - good large and lean cut with potatos and veggies.Prawn skewers with rice - prawns were lovely and fully peeled (yay!) on a skewer with vegies, comes on a bed of rice. Rice was plain with very little flavour but a nice change form meat and potatos.Kids meal fish and chips - fish fingers and chips. Good size but real fish would have been nice. It was a little bit more pricey then the average place. The meals were tasty and attempting to be a little for stylish then traditional places.A real pleasure to see a variety of fish options. We would return but only if we want to spend a little more on the meals.

Great selection of food in its varied restaurants. However the salt content in the food seems to increase every year!

Comparing this Alm with other ones which one can reach during their stay in the "Almtal" - the Valley of sheepfolds, I consider this Alm as unquiet. I was surprised that it is possible to reach this Alm via the car, which makes this place little bit more busy :-/On the other hand, enjoy the place when mentioned is no problem for you. Nice views, home animals, playground for children, large slope for them and a possibility of accommodation can reward you.

The inn is about 45 min from the valley, so an easy hike. The young couple running the inn is very dedicated and offers good food. From there you can move on to the Karseegalm.
