We ate and drunk here during skiing. The place is familiar and special with the old style kitchen. The waiters were very kind and helpful. The foods were really delicious and home made style.

Wer sich bei langer Wartezeit für nur ein Getränk so richtig "veräppeln" lassen möchte, ist in der Schwarzkogelhütte genau richtig. Unter der Führung von Herrn Walter Maier ein Eklat der besonderen Art. Wir haben eine Cola an der Theke bestellt und die Kellnerin aufgefordert, sie möge bitte das Glas von ~ 0,2L zumindest auf voll, sprich 0,25L einschenken (das Glas war nicht gröÃer). Sie hat diese Bitte sehr lächerlich empfunden, wie sich im Nachhinein herausstellte, 3,20EUR für eine 0,3L Cola laut Karte verrechnet. Von einer Registrierkasse weit und breit nichts zu sehen. Das Geschirr türmte sich überall, obwohl zwei Kellner "versuchten" zu kellnern.

We've been here skiing with friends and families and many kids together. The place seemed to be out of nowhere as it's pretty far from the main road. But it's really a treasure! All seems brand new and well kept. They speak just a bit in English, but we made ourselves to understand. The rooms were great. Nice, clean, new. There was one room however, which was one from the third world: The shower cabin was right next to the bed and the toilet was divided by a light curtain only. Now, try to avoid this one, unless you're travelling alone...The staff was very helpful and patient with the children we were travelling with. (All respect!)The food was great! It was one of the best we've had in Austria ever in this price range. All fresh.It could be ideal during the summer also!Recommended!

Nicely placed along the highway it's very convenient along the journey. There is a broad parking lot and many seats. There is a buffet as well as a nice menu with many different dishes. Waiters are very kind and quick.
