Making its home in the picturesque little fishing village of Port Albert, 'Wildfish' is South Gippsland's premier waterfront restaurant. With a simple philosophy of producing the freshest local seafood caught by local fishermen 'Wildfish' is much welcomed
This restaurant had been recommended to us as the best place to eat in town, so we booked a meal on a Friday night during a recent visit. When we arrived, we were impressed with its ambience and the friendly efficiency of the waitresses. The food however was a mixed bag. The entree (which was a mixed platter) was excellent - delicious dips, yummy homemade bread, fried haloumi cheese and some scrumptious olives. Sadly, our main course (fish and chips) was rather disappointing. The large rock flathead's batter was rather heavy and greasy, and the chips were mediocre. We struggled to complete even half of this meal. What a shame as the rest of the experience was so positive.

Thanks to the Broom Hilda at this place that killed our mothers day buzz recently. You can have the best day going but you will always remember what wrecked it. Try another proffession lady, hospitality is not ya thing.

I would love to say I donât like this place but the truth is I love it ...... Brendon and Michelle are wonderful hosts who make you feel like one of the family.......We dine out once a week and the reason for us being like homing pigeons is the horrible bloke in the kitchen. .... Ben has to be one of the nicest blokes and one of the best chefs in Gippsland..... treat your self and try the Victoria Hotel for a meal and I guarantee you will be back..... I have enjoyed Pubs all over Australia (could say the world)And this is one of the Best Pubs I have ever been to .......
Right in the middle of this small country town.Busy little takeaway with a good choice of hot & cold food.Served quickly.Nothing fancy with prices to match.Tradies were lined up the day we visited.
Come in and see our range of fried food, homemade goods and salads. We are well know for our Homemade sausage rolls, souvlakiâs, coffee and customer service. Enjoy your meal with a hot coffee or a cold drink while enjoying our free wifi. Eat in or takeawa
Delightful shop with the lot, happy and friendly service, fish n chips were yummy and well priced.. Open on Monday evenings, parking right out the front too.

Ate here as a family on Motherâs Day - very busy, but everything ran like clockwork. Our food was amazing, we had the shanks, carbonara, steaks and scallopini plus desserts - all were outstanding. Staff were very friendly. Also had Sunday night raffles happening, which was also fun. Will definitely be back.

Yarram's oldest Hotel, Hotel, Motel (10 ensuite motel rooms) Restaurant, Bar, TAB, Keno & Thirsty Camel Drive in Bottleshop, Golf, tradies and accommodation packages available.. Free wifi in the bars & dining room
We always have dinner or lunch at the commercial when in town. Did not disappoint last night. I had Mongolian beef stir fry which was to die for. The portions have become noticeably smaller in this the past 12 months but still very nice. For a small county pub the food was very good. All meals were on much smaller plates. Not sure what the thinking is behind this but prices are up there for size.one couple ordered the waffles for dessert which were huge. Coffees were very good and staff cheery and helpfull
