Enjoyed dinner here on a fairly busy night. Staff were very welcoming even though we hadnât booked. Many different beers available. Surprised no local wines were offered but that probably means theyâre not up to standard for the restaurant. Menu was traditional country motel restaurant which is fine. Started with the pizza bread which was great. We had the lamb and the chicken and both were excellent. Leave room for the crumble for dessert. Staff were friendly and welcoming despite having a busy night. Highly recommended and would come back. BMM01, Many thanks for your kind review, it pleases us greatly to know that you were so happy. Firstly, the hotel has a courtesy bus that will pick you up and take you back to your accommodation. Secondly it has a nice friendly atmosphere. Thirdly the food is delicious. And if you want a bottle of wine you can go into the bottle shop and bring one back to the dining room. What a great pub.

The food and drinks are great and the atmosphere is great. This is always such a lovely place to catch up with friends for breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. Good variety on the menu. A wide selection of homewares, giftware and food items to purchase.

The St George RSL is a vibrant community club and caters for all your needs with a bar, bistro, bottle shop, pokies, Keno, function area, and a separate kids playroom. Our friendly staff welcome all members and guests.

Had dinner at the club. Meals are fully priced, with a clarification needed. The meals were indeed fully priced, but there are budget priced meals also (such as bangers and mash, which looked good value as we watched others dine), AND a 10% seniors discount applies to meals. Wife had a fishermen's catch which was large; and I had a lamb's shank that was perfectly cooked and served with a nice salad (had a choice of vegies too). Also had garlic bread which may not have been the best we have had, but was fine. Service was good; the atmosphere quiet but very pleasant. A nice evening was had.
