First impressions are quite good - centrally located - plenty of parking. Step inside and it's quite welcoming. The staff are pleasant. My uncle ordered roast and really enjoyed it. I had steak ( it was steak night) ... and while the wrong sauce was provided ... the meal was really enjoyable. This is a really good choice to eat at if you are in town .

We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints us! Very family friendly motel and restaurant. All the staff are friendly, lovely and helpful. The meals in the restaurant were large and filling. The family rooms in motel are good sizes and ours had a kitchenette, with everything we needed. Kids loved the pool and slide
Such a fabulous Thai experience in the regional town of Roma. This is a must visit at the Big Rig information centre. Open for takeaway from 5pm Thursday onwards you will be able to order from the lunch menu at the big rig cafe as well all week! Yum!!

Wow- what a night - our 3 adult children booked a table for us and obviously advised the restaurant it was our Anniversary- we were advised we had ârun of the houseâ and to order anything and everything we desired. Husband had calamari for entree and I had pork belly and scallops- both meals were superb- neither of us could pass on the seafood vol au vent - just amazing and a perfect choice- dessert saw us both ordering pavlova- with a wonderful surprise- I highly recommend and will return very soon- excellent service- excellent food and a night to remember! - thank you!
We celebrated my husband's birthday here after it being recommended by the manager of the caravan park we were staying. Definitely a good recommendation. It is a la carte and there quite a few good choices on the menu and the wine list is pretty good as well. We had an entree of coconut prawns and the other the stuffed portobello mushrooms. They were very good, but the servings were very large, in fact they could have been main menu size. We both then ordered the filet mignons which came with a choice of two sides. We selected the fresh seasonal vegetables and the sweet potato wedges. The servings were enormous and in fact one meal could have fed the both of us. The food was very good. The seasonal vegetables were - cauliflower, broccoli, sweet peas, carrots, zucchinis and corn on the cob. It was a shame that we could not finish the meals. Needless to say we did not try the desserts. All of the staff were so pleasant and friendly. It had a family feel to it. A young girl sang and played the ukulele singing a few of Adele's songs. A great atmosphere.

First time stay in Roma and we ate at this hotel. The service was prompt and efficient and the meals were of a generous amount and flavoursome. Only negative is we had a coupon from a welcome pack we received at the hotel for a complimentary beverage but was not honoured because âthe manager wasnât thereâ.
Wow â what a find in a country town! This is as good a restaurant as you would find anywhere, and weâve travelled a lot in Australia and overseas. We were very impressed by the setting, the layout, the friendly and understanding staff led by Amanda, and the ambience of the place. The menu was interesting and they were very willing to accommodate my dietary requirements with a beautiful meal of a chargrilled veggie stack which was huge! My husbandâs beef and Guinness pie was savoured and appreciated after a long dayâs drive. We loved the privacy offered by the way the space was decorated with quality timber screens separating small groups of tables to provide intimacy. Well done to Amanda!

What a great experience dining at the Explorerâs Inn restaurant in Roma. There is an excellent menu, at very reasonable prices. The food was well presented and delicious. Service was excellent, but casual, and the bar had an excellent range of wines.Thank you for taking the time to review our Explorers Restaurant. Our Executive Chef Tim, a local ,and his team are working on producing a paddock to plate menu using produce from the Maranoa area. The restaurant team, Jill and I really appreciate your wonderful comments and thank you for dining with us at Explorers Restaurant. Cheers,Richard.JILL GORDON & RICHARD CONDON
