Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant has established a reputation for quality food and friendly service within a picturesque natural setting. Guests enjoy a distinctive array of cuisine including local bush flavours and a select wine list.
We chose this restaurant due to the good reviews on trip advisor and due to being Accor members. The food and the service were a huge disappointment. We ordered a confit duck that was cremated, a walnut salad that was bland and dry, and a steak that was average. Thankfully the jus from the steak dish helped the dry duck go down. We thought dessert would save the meal... we were wrong! The panna cotta was equally bland. The service was equally bland. At least the wine was nice, canât go wrong with a sav Blanc from Marlborough NZ. Our advice, go the Red Ochre in town instead!

1st cafe open on Sat am in Todd Mall... 0700. Very efficient and friendly service to table. Nice tasty, hot coffee. Can sit in mall and watch stunning ring necked parrots in the eucalypts in Todd Mall. Good choice of breakfast menu but i didn't have any this time.

Look at this for a humdinger of a breakfast. Shrooms on toast - it also had hommus ( home made ), roasted cauliflower, feta, poached eggs and rocket, served surrounded by a sprinkling of seeds and dried fruits. It was a stunning feast for the eyes, even before I tasted it. Top marks, Piccolo's, bravo!

We had a lunch and a dinner at the Lobby Bar, rather than pay the exorbitant prices charged for the dining room buffet, and the food was delicious. For lunch, we both had the chicken curry. For dinner, my wife had the burger (note: it can only be cooked well done, which ruins the idea of using Waygu beef) and I had a quinoa and pumpkin salad. The service from the international staff was very good.

Had lunch here one day, and breakfast the next. A small but well executed menu, served by smiling staff. Its well patronised by locals and caters for young families with its sandpit to keep small children out from under parents feet. Tables under the verandah or out in a gazebo or under a tree. Loved the smoothies, the fruit toast and the buttery toasties.

Well done to the staff with their cheerful and friendly service. A popular venue and the reason might be the nice ambience. Our meals were very tasty, and the choices are varied. I know locals like this place, and a reservation is a good idea.

We had both breakfast and dinner at this well-managed buffet-style restaurant. Breakfast all the usual favourites plus lots of other choices. Dinner has an interesting and broad choice of dishes including a cook-to-order station for some special dishes. We loved the lamb cutlets and the seafood choices included fresh prawns, oysters, smoked salmon and calamari. Desert choices were also good. The staff are absolutely delightful and happy to assist. Our only regret was that espresso coffee was not included in the breakfast buffet, but still available if you pay extra for it.

Arnguli is the local Indigenous name for the bush plum. The plum flourishes even in the driest areas. Its importance in desert life is immortalised in dreaming stories and artwork.A gem of Australiaâs rugged heart, the bush plum is a fitting name for a re
So there isn't exactly a ton of competition, but if you are looking for the highest quality dining experience and food, Arnguli is your best bet. Not surprisingly it is pricey, but the food was mostly solidly good-some portion sizes were small and it wasn't extraordinarily outstanding, but it was quality food and service. Borderline between 4 and 5 stars on here. As close to fine dining as you will get.

Everything about the Tali Wiru experience is excellent from thje time you step aboard the four wheel drive bus to the time you are dropped back again at the front door of your hotel..in our case Sails in the Desert.Arriving along a short path over the sand dune we were greeted by a glass or more of French Champagne and a wonderful Didgeridoo player. A variety of Bush Tucker based canapes were served as the sun set over Ayers Rock or Uluru and the Olgas.A selection of bush sourced native ingredients was presented to us, the sources and uses explained and we were able to sample them.We then walked a few steps to a dining area on top of the dune where tables were set for each indiviual party. There was an a la carte menu with selected premium wines. The food was outstanding as was the service. All; indigenous waitstaff very well traines...There was one Ni Vanuatu waiter who belded in very well! There is a windbreak around the dining area and we each had warm woollen hooded ponchos ro ensure we were warm and comfortable. We looked like Drappist Monks! The candlelight was turned off after the main course and we had an explanation of the night skies from an astrologer which was both informative and fascinating. After dinner we sat around a firepit with Cognac in our hands....and happiness or was it alcohol inside. On a rather mundane point my wife could not speak highly enough of the toilet facilities. They are important to her.The Hostess and the sraff were just fabulous.Do not miss this experience
