Caught up with friends for a weekend away and stayed at the Willow Tree Inn. Accommodation for the night was in the Pub Cottage and I had the King Room 11 with ensuite which had the comfiest bed ever! We hit Graze for dinner and I had to have one of their award winning steaks, so I tried the New York Striploin, one word, amazing! The night finished off with an affogato then a few more drinks in front of the open fire in the lounge area. The next morning we enjoyed a hot breakfast which is included in the price of the accommodation. The atmosphere, food and staff at Graze are incredible and they always make you feel welcome, so do yourself a favour and put this place on your list for a weekend away.
stopped for breakfast en route to Newcastle Very friendly and warm welcome. My friends had scrambled eggs on toast and I had poached eggs on gluten free groan bread which was delicious and the best gluten free bread ever. However our flat white coffee was very weak. I asked if we could order some black coffee to add but they insisted on making us a stronger brew. It was a little better but was not to our liking more like hot milk. The staff were super friendly as country folk tend to be. Lovely atmosphere and spotless clean toilets.Good Afternoon,I apologise for the delay in replying to your review, as I have only just joined tripadvisor.Thank you for having breakfast with us in July. I was thrilled to read that you appreciated our efforts to accommodate your Gluten free diet.I appreciate all feedback and apologise that your cuppa was not to your taste, but proud that either myself or my staff tried to correct the problem. Our roasted coffee blend Is not an overpowering strength. Hopefully should you consider dining with us again in the future, your next coffees are free. If you ask to speak with myself, Kerry, I will make your blend with a double shot to ensure the strength is more to your liking.Thank you once again for your honest review.Kerry

Me and my girlfriend were traveling to see family in tamworth, we were reccomended to make a slight detour from a friend of a friend and stumbled upon little kickerbell. This place is stunning. The house its self is situated right on the liverpool plains which was so calm and peacfull (especially when you live in sydney)We were greeted and sat in the dinning room that both boasts charecter and wonderful art work. I ordered the slow cooked lamb with homemade fig jam and my girlfriend had the homemade crumpets. The lamb melted in your mouth and the fig jam really took it to the next level. I asked my girlfriend for a bite of her crumpets and she said no as they were to delicious to even spare one mouthfull! The only fault i have with little kickerbell is that its not closer to sydney as i would be back there every weekend! Well done guys! Appreciate that you went off the path a little to find us and I'm happy you and your girlfriend enjoyed your experience. Please come by again, maybe you'll be in Tamworth at the music festival... Warm regards Cathy

Was in town for a function, and we had the chance to eat at the "Rissole" The RSL Bistro. It was great. There are all the usual suspects of deep fried options for those who desire an early heart attack. However there were other options of wonderfully prepared fresh produce. With food allergies I had a few question for Chef and he answered and accommodated a few changes. Our group totally enjoyed our meal.

The bowling club is very quiet. Sue is very friendly and helpful at the bar. The Chinese offers $9-00 lunches. They have a great selection and you can have fried or Boiled rice. Great meal at a good price. Plus drinks at club prices. Well worth a visit

Simple food, done well
We were passing through Quirindi and decided to go back to Zest. The coffee was brilliant and the service great.I decided to have the Brekkie Wrap with bacon, egg, mushrooms, baby spinach and tomato relish. It was fantastic, ticking all the boxes for flavour, texture and colour. My husband decided on the Sourdough with Feta, Smashed avocado Spinach leaves and the poached eggs. It was cooked well and presented nicely but unfortunately lacked flavour. As he was disappointed, we swapped meals and he was quite right in is appraisal. What it needed was a sprinkling of Dukkah spice and all would have been great.
