Not an excellent review only because we wanted to purchase a bottle of wine but couldn't as there was no one working who was licensed to do so. Very disappointing.Staff member was very friendly and made delicious coffee. Was nice to have a few different vegetarian options on offer. Cornish pastie with cheese was very yummy. Other half had a ham and cheese croissant which he was very happy with. Hi Lexi, thank you for your lovely review of our café. Not much choice near to the ferry terminal on Kangaroo Island, so eat where available.At least the fish and chips were freshly cooked and when asked whether there was a vegetarian option the lady was honest enough to say that everything was cooked in animal fats.Too much batter and not enough fish for me, but the chips were good, and not overpriced

Degustation menu was the only dining option on the friday nite we ate here. Approximately 8 courses served and the standard was excellent. $89 for the food and an extra $59 for the matched wines. Fairly standard prices for such a meal. The crispy barramundi was a standout and cooked perfectly. A couple of courses that I would not have usually tried eg. black pudding croquettes but for the most part thoroughly enjoyed them all. The staff were very attentive and professional with good knowledge of the dishes on offer. Its located up high and the views in the daytime or at sunset would be incredible

We were looking for a place for a relaxing winter holiday lunch and could not have been happier after stumbling upon âThe Corridorâ. The seafood soup was a revelation - seriously good, flavourful, spiced just right and tasting of the freshness of the ocean (which, as a bonus, you can look out across directly from your table). The mains were thoughtfully prepared, tasty and very satisfying. Service was attentive and friendly; the conversation with the chef about ingredient sources rounded out the experience. Highly recommended and a nice change from pub fare and takeaways (although you can order takeaway as well if you prefer that option).
