Things to do in Pakenham
Unique: Drake Tavern has a Full Bar with a plethora of choices that won't disappoint.I ordered the artistically crafted rice with generous serving of satay chicken skewers. Love the balanced colour coordinated soft fragrant rice with a touch of herb. Authentic creamy smooth satay sauce free of hard chunks of peanut that doesnât get stuck in your teeth. The satay sauce is served separately so it's personalised to your taste. Fantastic tender warm fully cooked chicken skewers.Health Benefits: Beer helps reduce stress.Beer strengthens your bones.Beer lowers bad cholesterol.Beer helps prevent kidney stones.Beer can help protect your heart.Beer is more nutritious than other alcoholic drinks. And much more.[ Reference: Dr Google ]Best Deal: Lunch Deal that comes with Free Beer is almost a steal.Guaranteed quick service by the immaculately presented, neat & smiling waitresses. Came quickly to me when I raised my hands for service. Love how the waitress meticulously wiped clean every spot of the baby chair before use. Professional service rendered as waitress bid me farewell as I was leaving the premise. Atmosphere: Well decorated in wooden theme with designer thick floor cushioning that are easy on the knees & clean. Several beautiful artworks on display. Excellent colour matching of cushion seats with beige wooden seat back. Lots of occupied seating space. Relax your eyes with a soothing view of greenery in the restaurant. Temperature is Climate Controlled. Toilet is clean. Love the soft music that doesn't block conversations with your mates. Live bands available on certain nights. Great Music at the right volume.Giant Television available for your pleasure. No surcharge for your meals if your are paying by card.ATM access available should you need to top up for your shopping needs.Love their system on how the cashier prints a paper drink ticket to give to you after you have paid. You can use the ticket to redeem your drinks from the bartender to avoid any unfortunate dodgy confusion especially in big crowds. I highly recommend the Great Northern Crisp Beer for that quick dopamine hit. Australia is not only an alcohol nation but is also an espresso / caffeine nation. As a pedantic dude, why donât the restaurant update their lunch deals to also include coffee, tea & bottled water as part of the drinks in the lunch deal to maximise value to the customers for a win win?Crowd: Professionals, Locals, Tourists, Caucasian, AsianPlace is packed full of people eating thus the food must be good. The food turnover rate is high thus the food must be fresh. If you don't like queuing, why not order takeaway from Uber Eats and enjoy in the comfort of your home to binge watch movies? The delivery will come in a flash.I give it 5 / 5 Gold Stars. I want to eat everything, well, except the staff :P . I will return to try different dishes & alcohol as they all look tasty. Disclaimer: I donât own any shares in the restaurant or get paid for writing this review. Then again, you just have to trust my words as you canât read my thoughts. I really did visit this restaurant as I have the photos paired with this review (though one could download photos from Google Images). On the other hand, I would give less credibility to text only reviews (may not even have visited the place) which may serve as an outlet for pent up frustration for a tiny minority of other people. I used to do that in the past as I was impetuous. Many things in life are only opinions - not facts. On the other hand, in consideration of your mood then, different people at the place, your life experiences & a myriad of infinite no. of variables and their permutations that rapidly age / change every micro second to and fro between unlimited levels of ripple effects, certain aspects of this review will be different from your own experience due to other peopleâs biases and stereotypes. You have to visit the place to determine if the review is accurate. I highly recommend you to schedule into your reminder to bring your family, colleagues and friends there this week for a pleasant gastronomic experience.Best regards,Jianfa Ben TsaiFat Guy with 35 years of Restaurant Dining ExperiencePaid Well for Delegating Tasks in Food BusinessPretended to Work when Boss is Looking during Employment at 5 Star Hotels35 years Loyal Supporter of the same Footie Team with my Boss whenever he changes his team with each new Client

Pies, pasties, sausage rolls and more. Great variety and some really flavoursome items.Cakes, slices and coffee also available . Have had food from here a few times and really liked it, though not much space to sit and eat and even when tables are available, sometimes a bit too cold to stay.Though if you are after a quick snack, definitely don't go past this shop.

Staff always attentive here, coffee and food always good too. A great location on the lakeside with a good range of food on the menu, and a great place to share a drink and conversation with friends. Love it.

Weâre from the UK so werenât sure about our breakfast choices but we werenât disappointed. Hubby had the chefs omelette which was very substantial . I had scrambled eggs with mushrooms & freshly squeezed orange juice about $44 including drinks which is ok for Aussie prices

We enjoyed a lovely meal here. Waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. The Steak was cooked perfectly. I had the âsurf and turfâ addition which was calamari and garlic sauce. One measure of a restaurant kitchen skill is how they serve calamari. It was tender and cut with a fork. PERFECT. The steak sandwich was well seasoned and the meat cooked to perfection. A wonderful meal with oursdie seating. Four beers, two meals, $71 AUS

A Monday night visit found the restaurant very well patronised. At first the menu looked on the pricey side for an outer suburban establishment, but the quality of the food and the service fully justified the prices. How refreshing to find cheerful, attentive, well-trained, conscientious table staff in such numbers. The food was excellent also.
