Restaurant serving European good with influences from asia
I took my wife and folks there after reading positive reviews and it didnât disappoint! Right from the start we were taken care of by the very affable Didier; he made us all laugh. It wasnât just the service though, the food was top-notch too. My entree of bug tails was really well done, succulent and sweet with just the right amount of acidity. But the main, Duck Confit, Truffle Risotto, Chicken Wings and Pecorino was a SHOWSTOPPER. I have never tasted duck so flavourful and tender, every aspect of the dish was executed to perfection. The desserts were also faultless, loved the warm apple tart and chocolate fondant. Itâs a perfect 10/10 for me, and I strongly recommend this restaurant should you be in the vicinity. Amazing food and lots of heart! Thank you for a great meal!

Nice local cafe, but highly disappointed they put straw in my orange juice. So not environmental friendly. Next time I prefer to be offered as an option. Everyone should do their part at protecting the earth.Sorry but we always serve our drinks with a straw and will continue to do so. If you dont want a straw it would be better to let staff no when ordering.

Wow! What a find. This little restaurant is tucked away amongst the super yachts berthed at Coomera. The food was outstanding & beautifully presented. The staff were extremely helpful & we enjoyed everything we ordered. Thoroughly recommend this delightful restaurant. You will be very impressed!

Last minute decision for a bite for lunch. Have eaten here before and the food is usually nice. Unfortunately my steak today was far from what I wanted. Asked for medium, clearly did not get medium. Very well done and dry. Might try again another time. On the up side, the staff are nice. Hi there, thanks for the feedback on your steak. Very sorry it wan't up to our usual standards. Can i ask if a table check was done on your table because this is a standard i expect from my staff on all our tables? Just trying to determine if it's an issue that could've been fixed on the day. Sorry again for the poor steak, come again soon.

Iâve eaten here a few times and always been served with a smile. The menu is very cheap! Good value for what you get. Also a wide selection. Coffee is good and always a good selection of home made sweet treats. Iâve had breakfast and lunch here and itâs nothing fancy but love and care go into each meal.

So-so coffee, would have gone for Zarraffa as a better choice. But breakfast is alright with white toasted bread, except the egg shell in my eggs. The sunnyside egg that was covered had its yolk broken too. :( Cheater.Otherwise a big (not BIG) Michigan breakfast costing $16.90 is alright. The cakes in the fridge look good though! But look like leftovers as I donât think they had sold half the cake so early in the morning.

ABSOLUTELY WORST Restaurant EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Ordered the honeycomb toast, it arrived and was SMOTHERED in cinnamon. I am so allergic to cinnamon that my airways close off and I struggle to breath. There was NO mention that cinnamon was an ingredient in the meal, no staff members asked the question if there were any allergies and there was no mention on the menu to disclose allergies (not that you would think this would be required as most MAIN ingredients are listed on the menu). When we asked a staff member if there was cinnamon in the dish he said yes, we then explained my allergy and he took the dish away. He then came back and told us that we would have to pay half the price for a second meal on the menu, after already paying full price for the honeycomb toast. I could not believe it. I asked to speak to the manager and waited 10 minutes, with no show. I had to ask to speak to the manager again. She then came out and said that the allergy should have been disclosed and that she had made another meal but o would need to pay half price for the other meal (pay for 2 meals and only be able to eat 1 without having my airways close off). We then questioned as to why the ingredient was not listed on the menu, she said that it should be common knowledge that this sort of toast contained cinnamon and that I should have told the staff at the time i ordered, when there was absolutely no mention that cinnamon was one of the MAIN ingredients in the dish. I was basically told that I should have known and that it was my responsibility to disclosure any allergies, even when I thought I was safe in ordering this dish as there was no mention of this ingredient on the menu. She refused to take any ownership of the issue however packaged up the second meal and gave it to my partner. I was so shocked, angry and disappointed about the service and interaction that I had with the staff here. I really hope that this review invokes a change that is desperately required here to either list the ingredient on the menu, have the staff ask if there are any allergies at time of order or state on the menu that allergies need to be disclosed. If I had not spotted that there was cinnamon on this meal when it arrived it would have ended in a trip to the emergency ward and I would not have been giving the staff or owner the opportunity to make a change here. As a first visitor to this restaurant it will be my first and last visit. PLEASE MAKE A CHANGE.

Dine in the shade of tall trees by day and lantern-lit gardens by night and enjoy a new enticing contemporary menu of delectable seasonal dishes. Located within the 112 hectares of Thunderbird Park, which is also the home of Cedar Creek Lodges - well know
We absolutely loved our time here last weekend. Truly, it was one of the loveliest places we have dined at in quite some time. The restaurant has a beautiful setting, lots of candles and lamps around (as well as a combustion fire in the restaurant) lovely pieces of art and overlooking the lush greenery outside. It was so wonderful to have dinner in a restaurant and be able to hear your companions talking - so much more peaceful than overcrowded places with TVs or music blaring, concrete floors and lots of hard surfaces where the noise tends to bounce around. The food was outstanding. We had several share plates between the 3 of us and loved them all - particularly the crispy pork belly and the Barramundi with Fetta and Macadamia nuts. Even the salad was delicious. Our waitress was welcoming and very kind and attentive. The only problem we had was finding this place - it was very dark when we were driving down there and the signage isn't great. Just know that it is definitely worth the effort to get there! When we were looking for a special restaurant to celebrate my aunt's birthday, another particular restaurant in town kept being mentioned. Well, we also went to the other restaurant and I have to say that the Rainforest Restaurant was so much better in every way - food, service, ambience. No doubt about it, THIS is the best restaurant in town. Thanks to everyone at the Rainforest Restaurant for a really wonderful evening, we appreciate all your efforts - it was an outstanding experience.Thank you for your feedback Tracy - it is definitely appreciated. When we opened our Rainforest Restaurant in late 2017, it was a little daunting, especially with the opening hours from Thursday lunch through to Sunday lunch, with dinners in between. So many people were used to having only casual food from our Terrace Kiosk, which serves really tasty deli fast food. However, we felt it would be great to have another option for our guests, day visitors and locals. This we now have with the Rainforest Restaurant providing a relaxed ambience surrounded by rainforest gardens, delicious food and a wine list that promotes local wines, along with New Zealand and Australian celebrated wineries. We hope to see you again, Tracy, in the not too distant future to give us your feedback on the new additions to our menu!
