It's probably the BEST Coffee in the world . I am currently parading around Southern Tasmania with a Tin of Patrick's Finest in my bag . You really really honestly can't start your day without a HIT from the Tin. Can't wait to get back so I can have a BIG Fried Egg xxx Namaste

We are locals and went last Friday night for a quick pizza to share. One hour later with around 10 people in the restaurant we watched everyone coming out with boxâs of pizzas. We approached the desk he started to argue with us saying itâs nearly done on two occasions. Finally ate the $28 pizza, two glasses of house red and a shared salad $62 really. What a shame Mullumbimby is full of wonderful restaurants and this is not one of them. Very ordinary pizza as well.....

I looked for a café in Brunswick Heads for a cappucino after my morning beach walk from the nearby caravan park. The Footbridge Café was busy with locals (as evidenced by their alternative lifestyle garb) so I followed their example. The coffee was excellent, the service efficient and very friendly and the Al Fresco vibe relaxing. Thank you locals for leading the way. Next time I'll try the cooked breakfast after resisting the tempting aromas on my first visit.

A small restaurant tucked away in quiet and sleepy Brunswick Heads; a coastal town in Byron Shire, population 1700 but swells by 20-30 or so when Fleet is open. Always wished to visit as this small unassuming property is highly immortalised by food writers, and foodies who stay on the waitlist for long lead times to gain a place to eat there. Lunch was long and lazy starting at 3pm.Many courses but there are choices, eight is good, serve size is to share for two. Bread, sourdough, locally baked. First was the chippies, heavenly whole sliced potato crisps, broken then prised into a smoked mullet rilette, served with unsweetened Laherte champagne NV chardonnay. Following is the crunch plate; small white radish honeyed to glue on some sesame seeds, low roast, seaweed; also eat the green end; fusion of crisp, sweet and vegetative sea traits, paired with wine from the banks of the estuary of the Loire River, simple grape called melon or pinot blanc, wine style Muscadet; not very acidic, climate change has moved this style. Next: raw kingfish with its blood colour, sandwiched with the crispest wafers of kohlrabi, caramelised turnip paste, slivers of red cabbage; finest of fresh fish, a texture lesson to eat; white was a fattening greco from Campania, I should have ordered riesling.Next: butterflied king prawns, small, unpeeled, crunchy to eat the lot, layer of pork fat/ lardo actually bacon, topped with cherry tomato; simple but flavoursome Mediterranean taste; with a classy Ballarat chardonnay.Finishing plates; beef short rib, long cut zucchini, sweetbread, lamb loin, cabbage, red garnet plum.Lunch score 17The writer is a wine professional.

It has great food for a pub in a small town not far from Bryon bay.
I have had a few beers at this venue. The Bar staff are friendly and go out of their way to remember your name, drink and accomodate your group. I have witnessed the skill in which the bar staff manage unreasonable customers. For a nice beer, with excellent staff and a quality bistro, I would highly recommend this venue.

When my husband and I visit Mullumbimby we have lunch at The Middle Pub.The meals are just $15 and the serves are very generous. We think the food is DELICIOUS!!!! There is a very comprehensive menu. The staff are friendly, I love the decor of the pub and if you like dining al fresco you can take your food upstairs and eat outside on the wrap around verandah with views over the main street.Great value for money here.

The Empire is where itâs at! Something for all tastes from epic burgers to vegan delights. Enjoy delectable treats and good vibes at this Mullum icon.
3.5Nice airy cafe on the main drag. Plenty of interesting types inside. Nice town this one with numerous good looking eateries. We sat outside. Inside is lovely and nicely fitted out though. We just wanted outside air. Just coffee and a mineral water today as part of our quick visit to town. The coffee was lovely. Strong, substantive and with good length. A good one.Service was a little cool and detached here for me. The trendy looking staff looked a bit withdrawn and unhappy and had no interest in us. It makes all the difference though when deciding to round up or down.

Serving local, seasonal and delicious food! And frothing locally roasted organic coffee by our mates at Moonshine roasters in Federal. Pouring a range of tasty craft beers and wine from Byron hinterland and beyond!
Best cafe in Mullum! We came here for a coffee but the croissant with the egg, avo, and sprouts sounded too good to pass on. We came back that evening for some delicious dessert small menu, incredible food!

Meters back from legendary main beach, Balcony Bar & Oyster Co sits perched high above the hustle and bustle of Byron Bays busy streets. This heritage listed building is reminiscent of a seaside beach house. The signature wrap around deck captures the set
