A quirky cafe with various options for seating including an outdoor courtyard perfect to enjoy brunch with your pooch, Main Street seating and lively indoor areas, offering all day breakfast and lunch from 11am. Our menu style is contemporary with an emph
Just went in to order a latte at counter. The barista so impatient like i was interrupting her day. She was not friendly, happy or welcoming at all. The young man out on the floor however was attentive, and the interior is pretty and quirky. Coffee was weak and only luke warm. The worst coffee Ive had in Mornington and ive now tried 5 cafes in Mornington and this one was the worst.I Wont be back.Hey Corinne,Thanks for taking the time to visit and leave your comments. I'm sorry to read you didn't have the best experience, we've always been very consistent with our coffee and always hope to produce a great product.I'd like to let you know we've changed our coffee beans since your visit too and would love to have you back to try. Feel free to ask for one of the managers if you're in the area again so we can speak about your experience.

I received a birthday dinner offer from The Winey Cow recently. Usually we have breakfast or brunch and the food is lovely. This is the first time we had dinner there. A small selection on menu, more like a casual light dinner menu... they have small and large plates... just an idea they have a beautiful scotch fillet steak with delicious mushrooms and polenta chips (which we both had and loved), Japanese wonton style ramen soup... etc.. we also had their soft shelled crab and slaw bao with spicy French fries, a special dish for last night. We shared that followed by a steak each and ordered a Balinese salad to share. The staff are very friend and helpful. Nice ambience in the cafe... and also fully licensed. We will definitely go back there for dinner...

Having enjoyed dining experiences at Hentley Farm in the Barossa Valley and Brown Brothers Epicurean Centre in King Valley we were looking forward to our lunch at Silverwater at Crittenden. This restaurant has to be kidding itself with a two course price of $65 and $80 for three courses which in our case was "Pan roasted, truffle scented gnocchi, tuscan cabbage, basil & goats curd" for my wife followed by desert which was "Honey and hazelnut pudding, praline & chocolate ice cream, honeycomb". This cost $65 and I extended my choice to $80 by including a side which was "Caprese salad of heirloom tomatoes, torn buffalo mozerrella & white balsamic" We dined with two friends who had actually chosen this restaurant and we were all still hungry after the meal.Sorry, but this is not an experience I will look back on with any WOW factor, most underwelming.

Tucked away nicely at the back of Empire St Mall just off the main Mornington drag is this amazing café find. Includes a serious library of mostly cook-books. Genuinely friendly and helpful service, creative menu, coffees delivered before you can blink, great ambience and a very pleasant location â what more could you want? Oh, and convenient carparking â right next to a council carpark. Thereâs plenty of feed places in Mornington â and we have tried most of them over the years. This one takes the cake â and even gives it to you with your coffee. A very pleasant experience. You can do a lot worse than this.

Drop in and visit us at Yabby Lake Vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula - your first stop off the freeway, just 50 minutes from Melbourne (and less than 15 minutes from Mornington and Mount Martha) . Check out the bright, welcoming space and Chef Simon We
An absolutely beautiful lunch. The 6 of us each ordered different main dishes and all of us commented on how delicious they were. Desserts were also delicious. The wood fire on a freezing Melbourne winter's day created a perfect heat. The staff were fabulous and very attentive. I would love to go back on a beautiful day an walk around the grounds. A definite go back to.

This 2 story cafe / restaurant is a hive of activity. The staff are genuinely attentive and quick to serve. They check in regularly and having the beverages station in the middle, means it adds a bit of excitement to your visit. Being able to see into the kitchen and watch the chefs - bless - working really hard and fast makes you appreciate the work that goes into the dishes served. The portions are very generous and expect the add-ons to be generous too. The teas and coffee were a high standard. The breakfast corn fritters came in a large portion and the relish accompanying them was yum! Well worth a visit and then a wander down to the beach after. There is also a great public library close by too. Thanks so much for leaving this great review. We really appreciate you taking the time to write this. We pride ourselves on great customer service and strive to make a comfortable atmosphere for our guests. We hope to see you again soon,John and Team Boyz.

4.1Milkbar & Co is a 4.1 in my book. It is agreeably fitted out in the modern style. This is apparently the result of a recent renovation which has been thoughtfully and tastefully executed. The style is good but is in no sense overdone. It feels and is pleasant. It helps the mood too that good music was playing as well when we arrived. The food was great. My beef brisket burrito was recommended by our server. This was a very sound recommendation because itâs a cracking dish. Itâs a really good thoughtful brekkie brunch dish and one thatâd be very at home st any of the well rated Melbourne brunch cafes. I could barely fault it. It had just the right amount of good flavoursome meat. This was accompanied by Perfect melted cheese and great black beans. The salsa was a beauty too. Finely chopped and very flavoursome as well with even some carefully chargrilled corn. Only the bed of rocket seemed a bit rough and ready and even then my judgement might be a bit harsh. I was worried the dish might be too small when it first arrived but again I was wrong as the size ended up being spot on. There was a slight understated spice to the dish which I thought was lovely. Sadly I didnât get the chance to make enquiries about that. This was the best of this style of dish that Iâve had for quite a while. It really was very nicely composed and beautifully made and cooked. It had me slightly in awe actually and Iâd have great trouble ordering anything else if and when I come here again. My partner had the ham cheese baguette which she enjoyed very much. She was particularly taken with the bread which were were advised came from Laurent. Our coffees to finish were excellent too. Up there with the best.So why is this place not rated higher? We can only speculate but we did find the service here a bit languid. We had to chase a server to put an initial order in. My dish was put down roughly in front me of dislodging some of the carefully arranged garnish. My milk in a jug with my coffee had little blacks things in it too. None of this is serious stuff. I gained an impression that there were a few details holding things back.We will definitely come here again. If they iron a few of the little details out, this place could easily score more than 4.

Situated right opposite South Beach in Mt Martha, SBP offers one of the best views on the Mornington Peninsula. Serving Breakfast and Lunch daily, South Beach Project also caters for functions in a fabulous setting.
We wanted a special spot for lunch by the sea to take a visiting friend but not overly fancy or pricey. South Beach Project ticked all the boxes, the food was amazing for kids and grown ups alike, great atmosphere with views of the beach, lovely decor and good service. A lovely walk on the beach after lunch. Definitely going back worth the trip from the burbs.

Child friendly, great food ,Friday night happy 2 hours 5-7 live music ,weddings ,functions ,birthdays
Excellent views in Australian bushland setting. Bushland walks and activities in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant. Very nice menu, good wine list and friendly service albeit a little slow. However this is not a place to rush but rather take in the very pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner if exploring the Mornington Peninsula region to the southeast of Melbourne. In particulalr for international visitors to Australia I think this spot is a must. Will definitely come back on my next visit to this part of the world.Thankyou for your review, my apologies for the service being a bit slow but we had a waitress call in with the flu and had to put a new girl on and not the best day to teach her .We look forward to seeing you agian.
