Things to do in Leeton
been here a few times and their food has always been up to Par, They start serving meals like the biggest burgers and tastiest chips earlier in the day than MC Donalds and way tastier and better value. Their ham, chicken silverside salad rolls are better than Subway. give them a go if passing through Leeton. you wont be disappointed.
We were told the best value for money "eats" are at the Leeton District Bowling Club restaurant. When we walked in on a Fri night and their tables were almost all full, we knew we were in to a good thing! They have a Chinese menu with a few Aussie selections. We enjoyed Aussie mixed grill & veg and Steak & veg. Both very tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, food arrived fairly quickly considering it was a busy night.Highly recommend we will be going back soon.

Leeton Soldiers Club was formed in 1940 by a group of dedicated ex-servicemen. The Club started in humble circumstances in what was formerly the Allanbrook Hospital. All work was done voluntarily in the early days. In early 1948 the original building burn
Whilst no cheap, it was't super expensive either. Adequate meals with half serves available for those that don't eat large meals. No real atmosphere or vibe happening on the Friday night we dined here. Could do with a desert menu or at least the coffee and cake option for those that like to finish the meal with a sweet.
Great food, The CHicken snitzel burger is the standout. Huge giolden brown real chicken breast on a huge bun with all the trimmings, try it with the garlic aoili, Bring your apetite.
Hidden inside the Historic Hydro Hotel at Leeton is a little known gem: the Freckled Duck restaurant. I wandered into the delightfully old-fashioned bar at the hotel and saw the menu pinned to the wall. I asked the manager, Anthony, who was pulling a beer at the bar, where the restaurant was located. "You're standing in it." was the laconic reply. This is going to be interesting, I thought, as my son and I made ourselves comfortable in a snug corner. We ordered some garlic bread and my son went for the chicken parmigiana whilst I opted for -what else? - the duck. We ordered drinks and waited. Not before too long, the garlic bread arrived. Unlike any garlic bread I've had before or since, Anthony (who seemed to be doing everything in the hotel) brought out a plate on which lay some massive slabs of home-bread slathered in garlic. The slices must have been a good couple of inches thick and were almost a meal in themselves! When the main courses arrived we were good and ready. The portions were massive and I seriously doubted my ability to eat it all. The vegetables were perfectly done and the duck was the best I've ever had. Not too fatty or greasy and deliciously moist and flavoursome. The chicken was extremely tasty and there was good amount of it. Washed down with a good red the meal was very reasonably priced and great value for money. I hope to return when Anthony has finished the renovations and have another go at the duck.

Breaking spaghetti into short pieces is for children and the infirmed. If the customer wants short spaghetti he or she can cut it up, but if it's served short we can't make it long again. The tomato base sauce was dark and overcooked. The wine was priced like a premium but was bland. I didn't enjoy the experience. My wife didn't mind the food.

Tastefully renovated to a brilliant 2017 cafe. With a touch of local history + top customer service and great food as always. Love the off the street pickup window! CRATE CAFE great location.
This was my morning coffee stop on my cycle ride from Narrandera. Internal decor very good, but seating outside in the sun was better on a coolish morning. Service and coffee were good.

Visting Leeton on business Pages on Pine was recommended to us by a colleague - ordered Roasted breast chicken bacon leek & blue cheese and cream sauce served with garlic spinach and mashed potato also the beef scotch fillet cooked to perfection. No room for dessert - large portions!!! Washed down with a glass (or two) of Lillypilly Sauvignon Blanc - very enjoyable meal. Merci

Our aim is to combine the best tastes of Europe into one menu! The majority of our food is sourced from local farms around Leeton & the surrounding Riverina areas and made fresh on site.
They coped very well with an unexpected 12 for brecky at 7.30 in the morning , food came out together , I just had the raisin toast , a little over cooked, every one said thier eggs were too well cooked but on the whole a good breckfast with good service .
