Lives in the shadow of it's neighbours (hungry jacks and Maccas). But this place is a superb take way spot. Chips always great and the burgers are delicious. Bravo dimmy road

Despite the somewhat dark and depressing decor, this restaurant surprised with the excellent service and amazingly good steaks. Portion sizes were good and steaks were of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The premises just needs some money spent on it to give it a lift and take it to another level.

Forget the fast food joints and drop into The Vic. Good value bistro meals, large public bar and friendly staff.Self service for salads and veggies. Plenty of parking at the back. I stopped for lunch on the way back from Adelaide and appreciated the calm and atmosphere compared to the fast food places across the road. There's a kids menu as well, so no excuses.

Food is our focus and our talented team of chefs keep the menu exciting with fresh, seasonal dishes. The carefully procured regional wine list and craft tap beers also change with the seasons. From a light lunch or coffee and cake break, to an evening din
Food is tasty. but the amount of chips on the plate just looks so sad. I thought it's just for lunch, but I went here for dinner and same thing. Paid $38 for steak and tiny hand full of chips. Left me starving after the meal. Since the scotch fillet steak was tough and wasn't amazing(too much sinew and even though meat was cooked medium, it was dry), i was disappointed that I just got kids potion on chips. It's shame as the food itself tastes good. I had fried chicken burger and beef burger before and both taste really good.Just not much chips with it.For chips lover like me, it is a let down.

We had a lovely dinner with friends in this very busy hotel. The service was great and staff very friendly.Enjoyed the menu and tried to book again but being Christmas it was booked out so book in early.

Cafe Jas began in 2000 and has been Horsham's star cafe attraction, a reputation Matthew and Sharron Keating built on when they bought the business in 2009. Popular with the Horsham community as well as visitors to our beautiful and unique region, we have
Probably not the best cafe that I have visited, but certainly does seem popular. Pot of tea wasn't too bad, and service was okay as well, but wasn't really a favourite.

Horshamâs premier restaurant offers good olde fashioned friendly service, olde world charm, a comprehensive a la carte menu and our noted âwalk-inâ cellar which boasts a fine selection of vintage and current release Australian wines.Whether it is a planne
The ambience is great, even if the antiques and paintings are aimed at out of towners with more dollars than sense[cents].Food was a big disappointment. The special prawns entre, was an imported premade dish seen at cheap pubs and takeaway chinese, with minimal prawn in among all the layering. The scallops entre was 3 small scallops wrapped in multiple layers of over cooked bacon and an overbearing sauce which made the scallops barely discernable. The lamb shanks "slowly pot roasted in a rich diane sauce" was actually a tasteless parboiled piece of meat finished on the grill[you can see it being cooked that way].Service was similar to the food with longs gaps between courses, dirty plates and cutlery left on the table or forgotten when collecting the dirty items.

Did some research before booking on a Friday night. Every now and then, a true gem rises from the pack. This is one of those times.Great hosts. Great atmosphere. Excellent value. But, most of all, sensational food. If you like beef cheeks or lamb shoulder slow- cooked and full of flavour, drive half way to nowhere and sample the menu at this place. Beef cheeks to die for at pub prices. No wonder the place is full.We dropped in on the way to Central Australia but will divert on the way home to eat at the Bull and Mouth.A real knock out!

We dined at Capital for breakfast for a large group of friends (approx 40-50). Although the staff were kept on their toes they managed to pump out many cooked breakfast meals and fed the masses. Nice location, good vibe, friendly staff. Would definitely be happy to return and try a dinner meal.

Went with family of four, 2 younger adults and parents. All enjoyed our food and wine. Sat in front of the large open fire, not to hot just right. Also does takeaway pizza plus good dinning. But you do need to book, is very popular, good atmosphere.
