It was a while ago but we went to lunch at the Aquatic club and had a wonderful lunch. The service was very good and the food was delicious. The only problem we had was that there is no lift and being upstairs it was difficult for me to walk up with a disabled leg.

Outstanding coffee and even better big breakfast. Attentive and friendly staff who ensure that everything works well. This cafe would succeed anywhere because the food is well cooked and very appetising. Coffee was made perfectly. Lovely crema on the long black, ensuring that the full flavour was extracted from the beans. Avoid the expensive trendy places on the waterfront and enjoy coffee and food as it should be.

The ultimate waterside venue, the Fleurieu Function Centre is a place of tranquility, wonderment and warm hospitality and is ideally situated on the banks of the Coorong at Goolwa. With sparkling water views stretching over the Coorong, the Fleurieu Funct
Enjoyed a meal here with the family and thoroughly enjoyed it. Generous serves of good quality pub food it was hard to fault. Chicken parmigiana, chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce (creamy!!!), S & P squid and a particularly yummy chicken and bacon linguine. The staff were friendly and attentive and the view would have been lovely if we ate dinner a little earlier - the bridge lights were very pretty though. We will be back!

Great double fried chips and choice of fish, all freshly prepared and delicious. This place is very busy so be prepared to queue for some time, particularly early evening. But the wait is worth it, these fish and chips really hit the spot.

My sister and I went here for brunch / lunch ( we had visited here about 12 months previously ) and we were not disappointed. Really friendly staff and a huge selection to choose from - this was difficult as too many tempting choices. We eventually settled for the Smashed Avo and Eggs and a tasty burger and chips for our mains. I had a lovely glass of local Bleasdale wine with my meal and my sister went for the iced coffee - thumbs up ! After a break , we both couldn't resist the the lemon tart which was divine. Would highly recommend.

The Whistlestop continues to offer lovely and interesting dining. Recently discovered the most exciting dining experience so far!! The cured (served warm) Coorong mullet with watermelon/salad was so delicious, I can't remember eating anything that made my tastebuds go into instant surprised bliss for a long time. So well put together, the whole dish beautifully complemented the different flavours, textures and yum factor. As it is only one of the specials, get in quick if you want to discover a unique dining experience, so sad if it goes...The crumbed veal also magnificent, as was the usual good quality and beautiful presentation of the Affogato desert.Yes! Love the people, ambiance, and culinary creations. Very Nice wines too :)

Aquacaf Gourmet Cafe is a riverside cafe/restaurant offering delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and cakes and the best scones in Goolwa. We use as much local fresh produce as we can and our wine list is predominately local wine. We are open 7 days
We went to this lovely cafe when it was 40 degrees in Adelaide. We had visitors from London and were glad it was only 28 degrees at Goolwa! The meal, the wine and the service was great. Highly recommend the Fish Pastie.

The menu was extensive and it took a while for my daughter and me to finally choose the beef salad, and we both loved the fusion of flavours and the tenderness of the beef. We will have to return to try the other impressive menu choices. The atmosphere was relaxing, the décor suited the maritime location and the service was excellent. Loved the whole ambience of the place. If I lived in Goolwa, I'd want to eat here every day.
