Everytime I've gotten fish and chips from here I've been disappointed. I'm not a regular buyer so maybe its just luck of the draw. Tonights fish was overdry, small and the horrible brown/black stuff. not a fan of strong fish let alone that stuff. A waste of money at $10 a piece, cats and dog shared.

Small popular restaurant, part of the Best Western Hotel complex. Food was good with a nice selection. Service was great, even though we went there at a busy time. Did lack a bit of atmosphere - may be because the place doubles as a breakfast room for the hotel/motel in the mornings.Hi GamW2015,Thanks for your review. The hotel's brilliant receptionist, Ebonie, also doubled as the waitress for Fitzies Restaurant and did a brilliant job here also, as did the other waitress.They have a small bar and a well lit and bright, contemporary restaurant with a compact, pleasant menu that includes vegetarian and gluten free options. Meals were well presented, tasted great and were served generously. Ordered grilled snapper and salad, fish cooked perfectly, salad fresh and tasty. Sat outside and environment buzzing with Christmas joy and laughter. Service great, staff exceptional at they took the time to explain specials etc of the day and just very accommodating.

We didn't find this restaurant until our last day in Geraldton as it isn't advertised in many of the brochures including the main Geraldton Visitors Guide, the Geraldton Food Trail or the Food and Wine trail. Don't miss it! I should have looked at Trip Advisor earlier! The food was delicious, we had barramundi and kingfish - perfectly good, and the gluten free options were varied, and the sweet potato "fries" were fabulous - they were baked and big and yummy! The service was excellent, the people lovely and the view as good as you can get in Geraldton. We sat on the balcony watching the harbour lights. On top of this it had a great vibe and energetic atmosphere - something we didn't come across elsewhere, complete with a piano player in the background. We'd have gone more than once had we known!Appreciate your comments it will give us some follow up. Glad we got to see you at least once. Travel safe.

Serving only the best Five Senses Coffee, delicious cakes with breakfast and lunch menu. Sundays there is only the All Day Breakfast (kitchen closes at 12pm and cafe at 1pm) There is also breakfast and lunch options in our cabinet to dine in or take away.

Friends had given us a gift voucher for this cafe for Christmas, finally had the chance to use it. Weren't disappointed, this is a lovely cafe in a great location, housed in an old building with lots of quaint eating nooks. The menu has something for everyone, husband had poached eggs with the addition of bacon, I had the vegan, with a hot drink each. Both meals were very nice, great portion sizes and well presented. Staff were friendly and courteous, plates were cleared promptly. There was a small amount of value left on the gift voucher, which the staff advised could be used at a future visit. Will definitely be back sometime soon.

Have been here twice in the time Iâve spent in Geraldton and can say itâs a standout offering a upmarket venue, chilled atmosphere and top quality food that rivals many places in Perth and Melbourne.The owners seem to have got this spot on with reasonable prices and a quality menu.I had a the pizza which is fresh and full of flavour, made in the large wood fire oven on my first visit on a busy Saturday night.My second visit on a Wednesday I had the fish tacos which were sensational and reminded me of ones I had had and enjoyed in Melbourne, I also had the dumplings which again were flavoursome.This place is a must try.

Visited for a special meal and ended up slightly disappointed. The view was wonderful, the service was good the food was okay but expensive. In particular the oysters were flat and tasteless - probably frozen, which is a crime in a place like Geraldton. Thank you for your review. Geraldton doesn't have local fresh oysters unfortunately, we can get them in FRESH from South Australia once a week but they only have a few days shelf life on them if that, then we would be unavailable the rest of the week until next weeks delivery. So alternately all local restaurant sell frozen oysters, I will look into the current quality of the oysters as that differs with the seasons so thank you for your feedback.

This place has a small menu but a variety for all I think. We both had the three cheese scrambled eggs and bacon dish and we both loved the flavours and it was a big serve. The coffee was great also, loved the relaxing decor and the friendly service. We will be back when next in town!

I love eating here but the service was slow and inattentive. This among things, affected the temperature of our coffee. I donât think itâs due to lack of staff or a poor attitude - just bad organisation. Food still excellent. Hi Bariloche48Thanks for your feedback.
