We came here for dinner and it was an hour's wait for some pasta and potato wedges. The food was really overpriced for pub food - between $30 and $40 for a main meal. They only served schooners but for the same price as a pint. With the other breweries in the area serving meals for almost half the price and pints of good beer, I wouldn't waste my time coming here.Good afternoon Spanish_Sarah.Thank you for taking the time to review our venue and provide feedback so that we can improve. To answer your points in your review. Price point - we have an extensive menu that has been built to cater to a wide range of customers needs and tastes and as a result we have a range of prices on our menu from $8.95 for your bowl of wedges, $26 for our salt and pepper squid, $27 for our Fettucini Boscaiola etc. Obviously, we have more items on our menu then these and they do fall between your price range of $30-$40. While we do have a pub area we are also a restaurant and serve restaurant quality meals. Please understand the difference in this. We do work hard to ensure that we have a competitive price range with other venues in Exmouth. In terms of our drink offering and types - Yes there are other breweries in town and they brew their own beer. We offer a range of drinks just as they do. The Potshot Bistro has been in Exmouth for over 40 years which is a bit longer than most businesses here. Unfortunately, your palate may only prefer premium branded beer and not be suited to a crisp cold schooner of Swan Draught which is valued at $7.80. You like what you like though. In regards to your food taking an hour that is definitely not acceptable and I am surprised that you did not bring this to the attention of the staff so that we could better assist you with enquiring why the food was taking so long OR sort some compensation for you. We would have been more than happy to help with this if we had known. In any case, I appreciate the time you have taken to review our venue and I invite you back to discuss any alternative details that we can improve on. I hope to see you in the future.

We are a very relaxed and casual restaurant right at the Marina in Exmouth, WA. The views are spectacular and cant be rivalled by any other dining establishment in Exmouth. Our meals encompass some of the beautiful seafood Exmouth offers along with steaks
Went for lunch with my partner. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. Only issue was the fish meal was somewhat expensive for the quantity of fish per serve at $26. I only understood after why the waitress suggested the whole fish at $65. That being said hard to fault for location and quality of food and service.

Arrived in town to visit family and found Blue Lips was the only place open. Had visited Blue Lips before and had great food but soon learnt it was under new management. Ordered two chicken and mayonnaise rolls at a cost of $13 each. When we got home and opened them the first thing we noticed was they were literally floating in a transparent white mayo and the chicken looked false. Taking the first bite we realised the mayonnaise tasted cheap and nasty and we werenât wrong about the chicken. The rolls tasted absolutely horrible. I immediately called the manager and informed her they were not edible. She was furious and asked me to return the rolls. I went straight back to the store and as soon as I walked in was informed she was having new ones made. I asked if they would be made with different mayonnaise and real chicken and was told they would be made the same as what the old ones were made with. I explained they were not edible as the mayonnaise tasted cheap and fatty. The manager/owner was very obviously absolutely furious and yelled to the kitchen âDonât even bother making those as sheâs not taking themâ. She stood with her arms crossed asking me what I expected. I asked for my money back and it was smacked onto the counter. Needless to say I will not be back again!!Unfortunately the reality of how this situation was dealt with is very different to your account of events. I was in fact extremely apologetic on the phone & asked if you could come to the shop so that we could rectify the situation as I felt very bad that you had received a meal you were unhappy with. Upon your arrival I again apologised & said we would remake the rolls & since you didn't like the mayo that perhaps we could replace it with some homemade Aioli or another sauce of your choosing. There was never any mention of 'Fake chicken' & I can assure you, our chicken is supplied locally by a very reputable provider & is cooked fresh on the grill for each order, so I cannot understand this additional complaint. The same goes for the rolls which are baked fresh by our local bakery. As for your behaviour - swearing, yelling, threatening & abusing either myself or my staff will not be tolerated. I am not an 'arm crosser', nor was I 'furious' & I tried to remain calm the entire time. When I asked what I could do to rectify the issue & you demanded your money back, I immediately took the cash from the till & returned it to you. I did call out to the kitchen to let them know not to make new rolls as I didn't want excess food prepared that was not required. It is unfortunate that you have decided to take this tact after I did try my best to rectify the situation as best I could. I know your family well & they regularly eat at our venue, & have continued to after this event, so obviously they do not feel the same way that you do about our food or service. As for not returning, I think that would be best as we do not welcome this kind of abuse in what is a family owned & operated business, where our children also work. I will not have any of my amazing staff subjected to such toxic abuse at any time.

Lovely outlook from this nice resort. The rooms were large but somewhat lacking in in presentation. The room lighting was quite dull and the bare walls really needed some paintings or pictures. Minor points I know, but they detracted from could have been a more memorable experience. Four of us tried the restaurant the first night which was less than half full. The meals were VERY slow to arrive. Some of the meals were excellent however a couple especially the red emperor dish were quite disappointing. The deserts were excellent and despite being almost the last group in the restaurant we waited ages after deserts were ordered to have them delivered. Expensive. Dined elsewhere the next two nights and had great food and much better value.

Booked online because often busyOn arrival I told the girl of our booking - to which she said ânever heard of itâ turned to another guy & asked him. He rudely said - âyou havenât booked hereâ. Both of them turned and continued what they had previously been doing and left myself & partner just standing there! It was only when another customer waiting said I donât think this lady has been served that the waitress actually looked at her reservation book & found my name!!We were very thankful that we had a lovely French girl wait on us all night - couldnât have been more helpful - thank youMeal was average unfortunately. The chicken I had was overcooked & dryDisappointing after such a lovely meal when we visited in January

Felt like I was in Bali, sitting under strings of small lights out in the open. Had the ruby snapper and salad. This turners out to be a decent size piece of freshly caught fish grilled. The accompanying salad was drizzled with balsamic and enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant and professional in their tasks.
