Came here for a family birthday dinner with 13 people on a Friday night. Dining area was warm and comfortable, and nicely decorated Service was fantastic, staff really efficient both with bar and food serviceFood was way better than I thought it might be. Had the duck which was outstanding. Others had the beef cheeks with chocolate gravy which they raved about. Well worth a visit if you are in Dubbo

Alchemy (n) A seemingly magical process of creation, transformation or combination. Here at Alchemy Art and Food Hub we are all about finding the perfect combination. We pair amazing fresh local produce with organic Sacred Grounds coffee. We find the most
IGNORE the review below saying the coffee is expensive; that person obviously hasnât been out in the last decade. In Dubbo visiting family for 4 days and noticed this on the way in from the airport and it looked interesting and then heard people talking about it so went for a late morning brunch and coffee, sat in the sun in the courtyard and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. A great find. Oh yeah, the coffee prices are normal and less than Sydney or Melbourne prices (and Newcastle).

Stopped at the Grapevine Cafe whilst in Dubbo on business. The Cafe is located in Brisbane Street across the road from the Police Station. I had bacon and poached eggs on sough dough toast, which was fantastic, as was the Coffee. A great way to start your day and the owners are welcoming and friendly. Highly Recommended

Dined here again recently - very impressed then, and even more so this time. Service was attentive without being over bearing, drinks and meals were delivered in good time, but the standout meals were the main courses. We both had the salmon and both knew that we had amazing salmon in the past, BUT these meals were absolutely perfect - could not get any better! The crispy skin was superb, yet the flesh was not dry at all - a meal to remember and one that has made it to our list of 'The best salmon we have had anywhere in the world' (19 trips). Congratulations to the kitchen staff and front of house as well. The dining experience could not be faulted.

This cafe reminded of several ones I have visited in Sydney. Located on the main street in Dubbo it was fairly busy and hence there was a longish wait for my order. I liked the ordering process though and the staff was friendly. The poached eggs I had ordered were tasty!

Quick service, comfortable atmosphere, nice staff. Come here whenever possible and the falafel bowl is my go to - simply perfect mix of fresh ingredients and falafels I crave all the time. Great coffee too. The coconut panacotta is something else too, cannot describe how tasty it is. Recommend this place for breakfast, brunch or lunch if you're ever in town.

We are a family and Pet friendly café in Dubbo. Offering an all day breakfast menu, using the most fresh and local ingredients we can source. While we take bookings, we also welcome walk in's for a casual dining experience.
Staying in Dubbo for work with a colleague over the weekend we were lucky to stumble upon Short Street Store. We had a delicious Bellâs breakfast with coffee. The service was spot on from the young staff and from the number of people pulling in for take away coffee we knew we had stumbled onto a gem, so much so that we went back 3 days in a row!

Belts is more like a big city restaurant than expected in a provincial city. I chose avocado and prawn roulette for entree then roasted duck for main. Fantastic fresh and intense tastes in both servings. I made a late booking and was given a table in a corner behind the door (literally! ) Service was a bit slow to start as no one seemed to be aware of me being hidden away: I had to purposely attract a waitresses attention to initially take my order. Once the process was under way, service was great. The food was awesome however it is disconcerting to see the meals getting smaller as Veldt moves upmarket and is recognised as upmarket. Belts is not the only rising star in the restaurant industry to do this: however the food was so good I overlooked this. I still highly recommend Veldt but be prepared to order 2 courses instead of your normal 1 (or 3 courses instead of your normal 2).

Cafe environment is pleasant and clean. Service is reasonably fast. Many magazines to enjoy if your alone. I enjoy the fresh juice but this is not my choice of place for food.

Two Doors, providing a relaxed atmosphere that focuses on stimulating conversation and creating shared memories â whether itâs sipping on a glass of wine from our extensive wine list, dining on our delicious shared to the table or even honing your tasting
The food is delicious, staff are wonderful and it was just an overall gorgeous little restaurant. I was impressed with all the gluten free options and even got a special dessert created to suit my gluten free diet
