I decided to ride my electric bike from Ballarat to Creswick. It was always going to be a stretch for my battery to last the return journey, so I looked for a place for lunch that had a visible power point. The friendly staff at Creswick Roast were happy for me to plug my battery in, while I stayed for lunch.I had the small roast pork, which was tasty and filling, coming with a choice of three vegetables from the wide array on offer. The crackling was great! They had some lovely looking cakes on offer, so I charged my own batteries with a lemon slice and a pot of tea. Both were delicious. The tea came with extra hot water - always a nice touch.

My son, his wife, as well as my wife and I had lunch here. We were staying on the property nearby at the 2 bedroom villas at Sebel.Great outlook at this restaurant located at the RACV Goldfields Resort with views over the bushland and golf course. My wife had the soup of the day whilst I had the beef burger. This was nicely presented on a square bun with crispy bacon, egg and and salad. Not busy but very pleasant surroundings.Dear tommomelbourne,Thank you for your recent review. We are delighted you had an enjoyable lunch in Springs while enjoying the great views.Hope you will return again soon.Mandy BestwickFood and Beverage Manager

We had excellent meals on two occasions recently. A smallish menu, with interesting dishes - both entrees and mains. Very well cooked and presented - nice combinations showing good ideas. Service was spot-on! Good sound-deadening, so our group of 6 could easily talk. And well-priced. Good selection of wines too. Good ambience.

Surprisingly large cafe in the middle of Creswick, this lovely cafe has something for everyone. There are a few parts you can dine in. The front area has a lovely heater for those colder days and views onto the main road. There is a rear section which would be ideal for groups. The menu is for dining in or takeaway. Whether itâs pizza (23 different diets proudly on the sign out the front) or soup (12 different sorts) this is a sweet place to come and enjoy a meal either on your own or with friends. Had some pumpkin soup - which of course you do in a bitterly cold weekend. Delicious and a great portion size. Wheelchair friendly (first part of the cafe). Kid friendly. Good parking out the front. Dietaries catered for. Staff are very helpful and as I always say, they are the ones that can make or break a restaurant. So well done team. Thank you so much for your review. We really appreciate your feedback.Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to write it.

I have visited this establishment on several occasions and the food never disappoints. Whether it is Australian or Indian you will always be satisfied with the superb value for money food. The staff are very friendly and have establised themselves as part of the community. Maybe the service could be a little slicker particularly with drinks when one is waiting a while for a meal?

The American Hotel, ("the heart of Creswick") is a celebration of enduring quality. Built in the days of "Gold and Glory", The American stands to day as a unique link with Victoria's gracious and colourful heritage. It is personal and private, where time
We stopped for Saturday lunch and was greeted warmly by a friendly waitress who showed us to our table. We chose the Southern Fried chicken tenders, with American coleslaw, absolutely delicious and my husband had the Cincinnati hot dog and there were both fabulous. Tenders were so Moist and delicious with great dipping sauce. My husband said it was the best hot dog that he had eaten outtif the USA and the Mille Fille we shared for dessert was out of this world. We could stop raving about how delicious it was. Worth a stop and try for any body travelling to Daylesford and Creswick

We focus on local produce within 50km radius, we source and select all our own happy animals direct from the farmers and do all our own butchery nose to tail. Our in-house butcher also cures and smokes for our bar menu, charcuterie plates and al a carte m
we are a group of 4 who had an enjoyable night at the Farmers Arms Hotel Creswick. There was a good selection of beers and drinks, friendly environment, and the food in the restaurant was superb - the Chicken Parma is reason enough for a return visit. The only disappointment was Wales beating the Wallabies in the World Cup!
