Things to do in Atherton
My husband and I and some friends went to the Club last Sunday for lunch as we were all staying up on the Tablelands for the weekend. It is easy to find being on the main road, good parking and very welcoming staff at the door and throughout the venue. The menu is not large but there are all the favourites with steak, fish, pizza and parmas, all at a good price. There is also an excellent seniors' option as well. Drinks were more than reasonably priced as you would expect at a Club of this sort. Good sized tables and comfortable chairs to sit on. Ordering was quick and our meals were delivered promptly and all at the same time. The salad with our meals was above the standard you might get at other clubs and there was plenty of it. Our fish was perfect and of course it came with hot chips. Certainly enough for lunchtime. Our friend who ordered the Seniors' meal had fish & chips and a really nice dessert for about $15.00 - maybe not quite that much but thereabouts. On other various evenings they do have a buffet section and the pricing is on their website. It seemed really reasonable to us and we would not mind trying that another time. They are doing some refurbishment at the moment but that did not interfere with our dining at all. We would certainly go to the Club again on our next visit or stay at the Tablelands. Any Nomads visiting over the coming winter should certainly visit the Club for a meal. Well done team.
This shop is well worth a visit. It is beautifully set out and has a large range of their chocolates, coffee and a impressive array of gift lines. The manager was a very bubbly nice lady.
We are locals constantly looking for great places to eat, coffee, catch up with friends etc.Cafe on Louise is that. They provide a wide menu and service all gluten free (coeliac) options. I have not had GF food so tasty and of such variety. Wonderful, just wonderful. The service is divine, we should have much more of this in the world.
The Station Cafe is only open Fri-Sun, so I hadn't had a chance to visit until last week, but it was well worth the stop. How lovely to sit out on the verandah of the old railway station overlooking the creek enjoying a coffee and delicious homemade Chicken Tarragon Pie.

Called in for the first time on Wednesday 27/06/18 for Lunch, excellent service & the food served within 10 minutes, good presentation & freshly prepared & the meals went down a real treat with Ginger Beer. The cafe is spacious with either indoor or outdoor seating & bathroom at the back of Cafe downstairs. The total bill for both meals & 2 bottle drinks cost AUD $38.00 & very reasonable.

Helen and I were starting our day of exploring the Tablelands and came across this cafe quite by chance. We were both very hungry and ordered coffees, some ham and cheese toasties and a large serve of nachos. I must admit, we were warned. The coffees and toasties came out quickly, followed a short time later by the nachos. It was huge, with lots of meat, beans, sour cream and guacamole and very tasty. We will definitely call past this terrific cafe with the friendly staff. Certainly worth calling by.

We are a busy, family run business. We pride ourselves on making absolutely everything in house. We use Genovese coffee which has a beautifully smooth flavour, which is full bodied however not bitter. Come in and see what our lovely part of the world has
Firstly I must say that the good at Gallery 5 is still very good, however, changes to the decor have destroyed much of the charm and character that I previously enjoyed here for around a decade. We visited yesterday for lunch and the food was very good. However, most of the lights were off, making the cafe dim and dingy. And for whatever reason Gallery 5 is now unpleasantly loud and clangy. Fewer soft furnishings? Harsher wall coverings? Iâm not sure but my eyes and ears were not delighted by the setting. Thankfully the remaining three of my five senses were content. Perhaps a name change to Gallery 3 is in order. All in all, worth a visit for the food. Sorry to see the Magic has gone away with the previous owners. Try the chicken pot pie. Still excellent.
