Ordered 2 main courses and 2 nan breads. I got some sliced onion in a plastic bag, three lamb chops, and one chicken breast and one chicken leg. That was it. No rice, which I specifically asked if I needed to order extra. £26:60. Odd experience.

We have been coming here for so long, and it remains just as good. In my view, the Bayleaf is superior to any Indian restaurant in Oxford, particularly those ranked high on TripAdvisor. Smart setting, good service, excellent food and you can park outside. What's not to like about that?

From the streets of Bangkok ... To a street near you! Think fun, authentic and tasty Thai street food. Think tasty & affordable Lunch & Dinner, Thai Style! The Thai word 'Khun', means 'yours' and in THAIKHUN we wanted to create a sense of ownership and be
Really enjoyed our meal here. Pleasant service, lots to look at, and the food was delicious. Had massaman curry and a Thai red curry. Both delicious. Chunks of potato in sauce with meat was very tasty. Booked ahead as was very busy on a Friday night. Would happily return if looking for Thai though Oxford seems to have so many great restaurants may also be worth trying some others. Khop Khun Kha (thank you) KyleBry for taking the time to share your lovely review. We pride ourselves in serving Khun Kim's authentic Thai dishes and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all of our guests. It is an honour to hear these were both Key highlights of your visit. I cannot wait to share your comments with the kitchen team, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind Regards, Thaikhun Oxford

Was in Oxford for business and looked up this restaurant on Trip Advisor! This is situated near a large car park which is fortunate because parking on the street is horrendous. The car park is pay and display so be warned. The restaurant itself is welcoming and serves very good food. The duck starter is VERY spicy- as it claims on the menu. The naga chilli dishes are also very hot - as it states on the menu. The staff are very helpful and have a relaxed and welcoming manner. Food not overpriced and all in all a lovely tasty meal. Definitely go again if Iâm back in Oxford. A hidden jewel.

Our favourite Indian take away in the area. I have tried vegetable jalfrezi dishes in other restaurants and they just donât compare. My husband has chicken tikka masala and always enjoys it too. Naans and poppadoms are well cooked and the onion bhajis are delicious. They always give you something free which is an added bonus and a great idea to give them an edge over other places. Delivery men are really friendly and very quick. Even writing this review makes my mouth water, canât wait to get a curry from this place again!

My wife and I decided to break our journey home from West Sussex on Sunday 4th and came off the A34 and stopped at 7.30 for Gurkha village that we found on Tripadvisor. ...We enjoyed our meal consisting of the following....Starters....Prawn Puri £5.75 (good)...Lamb Mono Dumplings £4.95 (okay nothing special)....Keema Kebab £4.95 (succulent).....Main....Gurkha Special Mixed Mash Karahi £11.75 (good flavours and texture)...Paneer Palungo £5.75 (not enough cubes of cheese),,,,Garlic Nan £3.25(very good, fresh and fluffy). To accompany our meal apint of Cobra and San Miguel both £4.25..... Service was attentive and friendly even though quite busy. There is no service charge.

The Ovisher which means "The lovers meeting place" was established in 1981. Being one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Oxfordshire, it has been serving the people of Kidlington and Oxford for more than 30 years. One of our greatest boast is that three

Called in for lunch whilst in Woodstock. Nothing special, just an average restaurant. We went for the Thai set meal. It was nothing like a Thai meal. Typical Chinese with glutonous sauces. Where as real Thai is fusion cooking. So if you like Chinese then Iâd sa this is pretty average. The restaurant itself nee£s some tlc.

Family run business, serving the real taste of indian cuisine in a contemporary style. Located in the heart of historic woodstock.
My husband and I had dinner here while in Woodstock and walking around town and were pleasantly surprised. We live in California where we have many good Indian restaurants but this one beat them all! Portions were generous and service very nice. Don't pass this up if you are in Woodstock!
