We were just passing through Woodstock near lunchtime, on our way back from Nova Scotia to Ottawa, and we'd pretty much resigned ourselves to eating deep-fried chain food. What a delightful surprise to find Thai Hut - really, REALLY good Thai food, better than most I've had outside of Thailand, and a very friendly and helpful host. The tom yam soup was definitely the best I've had anywhere - including Thailand - and this was the first time anyone explained to me the proper way to consume it. Green curry and mango chicken were superb - and the "extra spicy" that we were offered was exactly that. Even the tea was excellent - and the little comped desserts were much appreciated, as well. A really lovely spot - so glad we found it!

We stopped in for supper, and were very pleasantly impressed with this friendly and down to earth restaurant. Our server was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable and a great ambassador for the place. We ordered several dishes and they came quickly and piping hot. We enjoyed the chicken wings and the Cantonese Chow Mein the most. Portions were reasonable and well presented. There is also a selection of local beers. All in all, this is a dandy place for a good meal and friendly service. Recommended.

We stopped here on our way to Toronto ... and really enjoyed our lunch. Modest storefront but clean and fresh inside. I had Chinese lunch special and it was a good size and very tasty. Our server was polite and friendly. I would return again.
