Sadly, I was left very dissapointed.Service is friendly and polite, but it appears they're unable to cope with a very busy night. Food was average on the whole, mine was less so - the starter of veggie samosa was delicious so I was excited for an authentic Tarka daal and Mushroom Baji, as a main course; however I was left feeling awkward and hungry. The Daal had no spice, warmth or flavour - it was cold and starting to solidify. The Baji was also cold, the team were rightly apologetic and took my food away, removing it off the final bill (I didn't bother with a replacement).Good response to issues, but I'm afraid I'd not go back to an Indian restaurant who are unable to knock up a Tarka daal!

We had intended to get takeaway from another restaurant in Woodhall Spa on the night in question, but that was unexpectedly closed. So we gave the Golden Phoenix a go. On the downside, it has a more limited menu than the chinese restaurants we usually use, but we certainly couldn't fault the food we chose - not a bite went uneaten!

Visited this evening.We had a fantastic tasting menu.The food was excellent.A selection of starters spring rolls , creamy chicken soup chicken satay etc.Main was Thai green & red curry.We asked for medium to hot & it was perfect.Chocolate desert to finish. The staff were very friendly & our waiter Ben was very good.We will be back.Thankyou. Used while on holiday was a good service delivery service to Tattershall lakes . Ordered 2 madras 1 x Bhuna the madras just lacked heat was way to mild for whatâs meant to be a hot curry you need to put more heat in it .. it was a nice curry but no way near the heat it should be.. Bombay aloo was nice and the naan bread was nice but overall average
