We had an odd experience with service on Christmas Day at Fuji Japan. It began when we followed an individual into what we later discovered was the more casual, short-order side of the restaurant, which has a separate section for sit-down dining. We ordered our food from the casual side and walked over to the other section to sit down and eat, not realizing we were apparently flouting their rules. The waitress in that section waited on several people but absolutely pretended that we did not exist. She totally and completely ignored us, but giggled about us behind the counter with another member of the staff. We had no silverware or napkins or anything and nothing of the sort was offered, so we walked back over to the casual side, retrieved those items and then went back and sat down. All the while, the waitress pretended we were not there. She would walk right past our table with no eye contact as if we were not there at all.As we ended our meal, I purposefully waited until the waitress was right beside our table and I said loudly to my husband, "It's a shame she didn't wait on us, because we're such good tippers. And we would have given an even better tip on Christmas Day." We then rose and started to leave. As we were walking out, suddenly the same waitress became very solicitous, offering help and a nice holiday greeting. It was WAY too late for that tip, though. The food was very good and quick, but the two-restaurant set up they have going is confusing at best. If customers make a faux pas, they should at least explain the rules before pulling the ignore routine. Even though the food was good, I'm not sure we will ever return because of the odd experience we had.

While just beginning to sample Greenville cuisine, and an alternative exists we have not sampled, this Vietnamese strip mall restaurant really worked for the three of us. While not a fancy or atmospheric site, the choices were plentiful as was quantity and the cuisine rated excellent by all. The measure of heat could be fined tuned as our selections needed additions, readily offered by the waiter. Three entirely different selections were devoured as evidence of desirability. Service was fast so have no hesitations if fast food is your need/goal.

Excellent food served quickly with reasonable prices. If I lived in Greenville I would dine here nightly.

Come by your local Noodles & Company at 3030 Evans St., , Greenville where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
N&C serves reliably good food at a reasonable price. We've visited many of their locations along the Mid-Atlantic. In Greenville:What we liked:1. Reliably good food at a reasonable price. What we didn't like:1. Cashier/order taker failed to greet us properly. No smile, nothing.2. I asked the cashier if the posted calories for one of the salads was for the larger or smaller size. Her reply, "I don't know."3. I suggested it might be for the smaller size. Her reply, "I don't know."4. I asked her if she could possibly obtain the answer from another employee. I got a big sigh in response, and then she went looking for help.Would we return? No.

It was a busy Saturday night and the place was packed. The Hibachi Grill cook was preparing four plates at a time and did an excellent job fixing my choices. (For those who don't know, a Hibachi Grill has a large selection of RAW meats, seafood, veggies, etc. You select the items you want, put them on a plate and give the plate to the cook. If you want any special sauces used like hot chili sauce, terriyaki sauce, soy sauce, etc., tell the cook. In about five minutes or less, he will be handing you a new plate with all of your selections freshly prepared and steaming hot!)The available dishes included multiple shrimp dishes, including Black Pepper Shrimp, fried shrimp, and peel and eat shrimp. They also had multiple choices of chicken like General Tsao's Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Chicken with Broccoli. And of course there were plenty of beef and pork dishes, as well as several vegetarian dishes. This place even had several version of rice including the traditional fried rice, steamed rice, and a stir fry rice with mushrooms.Desserts included the traditional Chinese pastries, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, puddings, tapioca, and many more.Instead of an ice cream machine, they offer individual serving cups of ice cream and sherbet in many different flavors.Service was what you expect in a busy buffet. The waitress takes your drink order, keeps it filled, and removes your used plates. Those what complain about service at a buffet, what are you expecting? And if you don't get your drink refilled, flag one of the girls down, it isn't hard.I don't live around here, but if I did, this would be on my regular schedule. The food was great, they handled the crowd well, and service was good. The dinner buffer was around $12 and they do offer a Senior Discount.Definitely recommended.

Three of us had six different rolls and raved about all of them. Two hot and sour soups and one miso. Again, compliments all around. The hot and sour is the best I have had anywhere. The rolls vary in fire depending on the selection. Each was priced between $10 and $15. We each drank water so the total check was $53 plus tax and tip for three. Good value for the excellent quality. Would be kind of pricey without the 2 for 1.

A small clean dining room, reasonably decorated - in a nondescript building on a main street in this small city. A small staff - I think I counted the cook, the waitress and the cashier. Each dish is cooked to order and then delivered with a smile - so that can mean a bit of a wait - but it's worth waiting! Delicious! Fairly large portions. Really good value!

I never had good experiences with this restaurant. They don't make real Thai Foods! And my chicken satay was not cooked! So disgusting. Go somewhere else and save your money! Thai Foods is way better that this.

We ordered salmon and shrimp hibachi take out, vegetarian hibachi, and the cajun sushi roll. All the food was good. It's not a large amount of food but it's enough. I was pleased also the sushi isn't rolled with seaweed but it's rolled with this flavored pink paper that has a very good taste. Its different but it's very good.

The food we had at Anchalee was simply outstanding in every respect. The ingredients are fresh and are prepared when ordered. Does that take a few minutes longer than pre-cooking and using institutional sauces? Yes. Is it worth it? YES!! The Thai Pan Fried #706 with beef was amazing. I ordered it mild and it had just the right amount of heat. Others had Paradise Chicken, which they raved about. We all started with Fresh Rolls, and they were just that - cold, crispy veggies with a tasty peanut dipping sauce. The atmosphere is fine - it's in a small strip center. Service was polite and attentive. The food came out hot off the stove. Can't wait to return.
