What a meal.... absolutely fantastic. Raj and the crew there were great. But the food was fantastic. Well presented, tasteful and really good portion sizes. I pass this about 8 - 12 times a year and have only just ventured in.... but now.... so glad I have. One of the best Indians I have had in years......

Not sure where else is cash only permanently in 21st century but two nearest cash machines are £1.75 and £1.85 to draw cash out. Food is poor and a experience I could happily not repeat.

After having a takeaway from here before on our last visit to Caister and it being absolutely gorgeous,we were really disappointed this time around. The bhajiâs were hard and crunchy and looked like they had been cooked several times,the Tikka and Shami kebab didnât have much taste and the curry was just full of tomatoes and hardly any meat, for the price it really wasnât good enough. I appreciate it was a large order but the standard has definitely dropped here,if we return to caister and fancy a curry we will be looking elsewhere.

Holidaying in the area we decided to look for an Indian take away for tea.How lucky we were to find this place within a mile of where we were staying.Delivered to our campsite 15 minutes before the allotted time. Very pleasant gentleman keen for us to enjoy the food.We needed the food to be gluten free and they took this really seriously. Not everyone does but these guys were spot on.The food was delicious. I can't speak highly enough of it. In summary, great food, brilliant service and attention to detail. Prompt delivery.It couldn't have been better. We arrived early and were the only people in the restaurant. Waitresses were excellent, very attentive and gave good advice regarding the amount to order. We had the duck starter which was more than adequate for 4 people. We all ordered different mains all of which were excellent. We had noodles as well as 2 different rice dishes and we were more than satisfied with the amount as well as the quality of the food.

I Ordered a good range of dishes. Everything was unappetising looked amd tasted bland, was watery, greasy greyish and tasteless. There were no Chinese spices or any recognisable flavours, not even soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger or spring onion in anything. There wasnât even a hint of seasoning 3 of the dishes. The Chicken was unappealing rubbery and tasteless. Chips were yellowish brown greasy dry and unpleasant. The Sweet and sour sauce was acidic and vinagery. We thought we would treat ourselves to a nice meal to kick off s family break spending well over 40 quid but was surprised to not even receive complimentary prawn crackers. (We expected this as we are routinely given these with a smile, a handful of fortune cookies and a menus at our local Chinese when we spend over 20 pounds). All Very Disappppinting, sadly not the good standard my family are used to and a complete waste of money. We wonât be returning.

We Fancied an Indian as we arrived late on a Friday thought it would make a change . We waited what seemed like ages and couldnât wait to get it back to our chalet. Disappointing isnât the word all very bland and a bit watery compared to where we live and not worth getting, wonât use again when we are there .

Visited a couple of times during our stay in hemsby as it was very conveniently positioned for our holiday Park. Food was hot, tasty and well prepared and tasted pretty authentic. Also most importantly, no one was ill afterwards

With over 100 reviews i can only comment on what I've experienced, i read reviews where people give 5 stars and criticize the cost, that's not 5 stars!!!!!After checking TA for a good curry house near where we were staying we chose Planet Spice. We arrived Friday early doors, table for 5 please, they were not that busy in the restaurant but a good vibe.Sat down just before 6, checked the menu and ordered some drinks, drinks came and we ordered 4 mains, chicken tikka massala, chicken tikka biryani and a prawn pathia.My biggest problem was the waiting time, we were waiting an hour for our food, one table of 4 came in after us, had starters and mains before us.......what is going on here. I approached the main desk and asked to speak to the manager, i explained the issue and my unhappiness, he blamed it on a busy takeaway and started to walk away.....how amazingly rude of him....i'm even less unimpressed by now and made my feelings known, i asked him again how long and he said 5 minutes.10 minutes later the food came and it was great, one of the best pathia's I've ever had, good rice good nan's, all very good indeed, we cleared the lot.Price was not bad either £62.95 for 5, no tip, no chance.As i said at the start it's an overall experience and although the food was fab the service was not, i would normally only knock one star off but as it was so bad and the waiting I've knocked 2 off.What a shame, work on the service lads, there's enough of you, food was great!!
