Perhaps their dinner menu is different but cannot eat their lunch. Had sweet and sour pork which came with fried rice, soup and spring roll. Very inexpensive but if one cannot eat, then all is wasted. Too bad because service is very nice.

We knew nothing about Vietnamese cuisine when we were seated on a busy Saturday night at this new to us crowded casual spot. Happily our cheerful server helped us understand the menu and we loved the vegetable spring rolls and bun combo. The spring rolls were packed with healthy tofu/crisp vegetables/rice noodles and served with a peanut sauce. The bun combo was served in a bowl with rice noodles on the bottom, fresh vegetables, shrimp, Vietnamese egg roll, crisp grilled beef slices and fish sauce on the side. Chopsticks in hand, we dug in and added Sriracha chili sauce for bigger flavor. For those of us not familiar with the three dessert choices, it would be helpful to have a photo.

6:30 Thursday reservation for six. Sakura was nearly full, bustling, noisy with many folks appearing for take-out orders. Nevertheless, within minutes of agreed upon time the party was seated with Candice soon appearing for drink orders. When food arrived, it was attractively presented and flavorful. Throughout the evening, Candice was hurrying through the crowd providing attentive, cheerful service. The noise in the room encroaches upon easy conversation, however, the delicious attractive food and skillful service makes this a go-to and go-back-to venue.

The Villages is not a Mecca for satisfying restaurants. To fully validate this opinion, one visit to The China Wok near Brownwood will be sufficient. A reluctant languid counter-person in full-blown recovery from the Disney concept of positive guest relations, takes the order. The line cooks fires the woks and produce just mediocre food. The promised free egg rolls with a $25 order described on the leaflet are not produced.
Second time, no better. Adequate, just barely, hot & sour soup. Szechuan chicken, traditionally spicy and flavorful, was bland. Sesame chicken was heavily battered with a paucity of sesame seeds.

China Jade is a tiny hole in the wall Chinese take out joint in Wildwood. The place is located in a 3/4 's empty shopping strip mall that was home of the old Winn Dixie. I was coming back from Tampa and realized I hadn't had dinner yet. I decided to stop and grab something rather than making dinner. I saw China Jade and dropped in.The place is empty except for the guy cooking and the woman working the counter. I order the chicken and broccoli with white rice. The woman takes care of my order and I decide to eat there. What insues is pretty funny and certainly made the dining experience interesting. The woman seems upset about something and is complaining to the guy cooking. She goes on about 5 minutes gradually getting louder and louder. Of course, this is all in Cantonese. The guy then starts back at her gradually talking louder and faster. Next the woman and man are almost yelling at each other. I realized at that point that they are more than likely married. Suddenly, there is a minute of silence and my food comes out. As soon as I dig in the fight is back on. They went back and forth for the next 15 minutes as I finished my meal. Dinner and a show.So what was my overall impression? Well, the place is a hole in the wall. They don't have proper utensils or plates.Could the place be a little cleaner? Yep. My bottom line is always whether or not the food is good. Well..the food was excellent. The chicken and broccoli was some of the best I have had. Lots of good quality chicken, an ample amount of properly cooked broccoli, and served in a nice brown sauce. It is a simply dish that so many Chinese restaurants mess up. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was at China Jade. If you find yourself in Wildwood give these guys a chance.

Our group had a very good meal. We all ordered different things and we all liked our food. The portions are a bit small and low on the protein, but very flavorfull and had good presentation. The restaurant is nicely decorated with clean bathrooms. The service was friendly and efficient. There are a lot of restaurants to try, but this is in the return list.

Fast and friendly service Service. Hibachi Grill is the way to go here if you donât mind sharing the Grill with strangers. The food is cooked in front of you with some theatrical flair. I had the steak, chicken and shrimp. All done well with two great dipping sauces. Chocolate Ice Cream was a nice ending to the meal. Would definitely come again.
