I've been to this place at least 10 times, but the last few visits had been less than what I had come to expect. This visit, the restaurant appeared cleaner, servers more friendly, and the food was better. I'm glad to see they are improving again. They do need to offer ranch for kids salads at least though. Most Japanese steakhouses have gotten on board with this idea.

Attended the 2018 Valentine dinner with my daughter. This was a 5-course meal that included tomato soup, citrus salad with strawberries poppyseed dressing, jerked shrimp with pineapple salsa, smoked Cornish game hens with glazed carrots and picked beets, and red velvet parfait for dessert. Jade East is not only the best Chinese restaurant in the region, it's also overall one of the best restaurants in Scioto County. No buffet food here; everything is prepared fresh and delicious! Everything on the menu tastes superb, but my favorites are the outstanding egg rolls, the roast pork cashew ding, and the mu shu pork. Killer!

I have visited Yamato's on several occasions. The staff is friendly and accomodating, and the service is good. The food is very good, calamari, duck spring rolls, the sushi and sashimi, and of course the hibachi style meals. Portions are good size as well. There is no show, but the very good food.
