Awful, awful, awful. This is NOT an Indian restaurant. All our curries consisted of dry meat covered in the greasiest curry sauce with a thick layer of oil on top (god knows where the oil came from, certainly not from the meat!). We all had different meats and different curries and none of us could finish it because it tasted terrible. The menus were sticky and the floor under our table was covered in food waste from previous customers. It's not even value for money as there are many better curry houses in Warwick where you get quality Indian food for the same price. First and last visit!

It took so long to open this Giggling Squid! We constantly had locals popping their heads around the door asking when we were going to open. It became an ongoing joke! One man mentioned to my husband that it had nearly been a whole year; we didnât want to

Came here in March for my birthday with my Dad & Step Mum. We've been here a few times now for special occasions as the food is always very good & the staff are lovely. It's an usual location as it's in the middle of a housing estate, & the building has no windows if you're seated at the back of the restaurant, so you can't see the outside world go by. However, the decor is beautifully decorated. The waiting staff are wonderful, very friendly & helpful, our waiter for the evening even saw us out at the end of the meal by opening the door & wishing us well, which was lovely. I opted for the chicken tikka byriani, which was delicious! The side dish of vegetables & sauce though was unfortunately too salty. My Step Mum had the sizzling salmon which she's had before & really enjoyed it again. My Dad's dish (can't remember the name) had too much salt in it too unfortunately. Despite the food being not as enjoyable as previous visits though I'd visit again. Thank you for your review, it really was unfortunate that your dishes were salty I deeply and sincerely apologise, however thank you also for bringing this to my attention because I can act upon this to prevent this reoccurring for other diners, it really does help when diners communicate with us because it allows me to run my business better. Thank you Owner/ manager Akay

Visited here on a Saturday evening and was immediately impressed with the vibrant atmosphere in the place. However, I wasn't impressed for long. We were then served non crispy poppadoms and a pickle tray with very watery items. The starter was passable but the main course I had - Balti Lamb - was very non-descript. I certainly wouldn't race back to this place again. There are far better establishments in the town.

Couldnât go to the pizza place because it was closed but my daughter said to try here as friends had told her how good it was..... so we went and it was. We ordered one main and three assorted lunchboxes between 5 of us (3 adults and 2 children) Great food. Great flavours. Lovely! Not one grain of sticky rice left. Totally recommend!

A cosy, small, warm welcoming cafe restaurant providing high quality and fresh asian fusion style food. Catered for all occasions. Specialised in fresh lobster seafood at reasonable prices. Very unique and quirky place with an open kitchen delivering once
You really should try to book before you go to this tiny restaurant as many people were turned away while we were having dinner. We had two sushi portions to share between the three of us. The sushi was very good and I would have that again. We all had the lobster with cheese. Quite honestly we were all underwhelmed. The lobster was tough and the grilled cheese on top was flavourless and greasy. The chips were soft and disappointing. Go for the sushi! Thank you for your response, we appreciate all feedbacks. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your sushi however we apologise if our lobster dish didnât live up to expectations, we always guarantee freshness and top quality with all our food served in our restaurant. Please allow us on your next visit for us to make it up to 100% satisfactory as we are a small family run business we pride very highly on customer satisfaction. Thanks again, Lobster

We attended on Saturday night for a meal for my partners birthday and was not disappointed. We had poppadoms for starter as we had a big lunch and didn't want to ruin the main - I then had a king prawn and spinach curry (not a huge fan of a curry, but booked this restaurant as my partner enjoys this cuisine), and I really liked it! My partner had a duck curry (1st time) and he thoroughly enjoyed his too. Portions were perfect sizes - not too big, and the full of flavor. Staff were friendly and v attentive. We will definitely be returning .. even if we grab a take out! Nicest curry we've had in a long time. Thank you :)

What a characterful town medieval Stratford is! Having a Giggling Squid here gave me the opportunity to put a tourist hat on and do all the things a tourist would. Iâve loved getting to know the area, and am constantly discovering new âfavouriteâ things.
I called in for their lunchtime special. Pork dumplings, Green curry and rice, all for £9.50. I did think the large beer at over £7.00 plus 10% service charge was a little steep though. The restaurant itself is housed in a very old building, which gives it great charm.Itâs definitely worth a visit, but choose your drinks wisely!Dear Freddiedoncaster,Thank you so much for taking the time to give feedback following your visit to Giggling Squid Stafford. We would like to thank you for your comments and apologise that we did not wow on this occasion. We take all of our guestâs feedback on board and will use this to improve all areas of our guest experience. If there is anything further we can help with please don't hesitate to get in touch.Kind regards,Suree [email protected]
