Damning with faint praise. The drinks are excellent - not too sweet and not swimming in amaros like so many places. However, the food and service are not great. We had coconut prawns, crab rangoon, lamb skewers, boneless pork and a reasonably good salmon, avo and cucumber roll. The meats were hopelessly overcooked and dry. The skewers had good flavor, but a LOT of chew. The coconut prawns were overfried and missing any hint of coconut. The rangoon was underseasoned, but cooked properly. We waited forever for service even though the restaurant was pretty empty. One couple got great service from a server who never helped anyone else. Even with happy hour prices, this is not good value. Very disappointing. Such a good menu.

Hunan (Chinese)
Ordered from here via Uber Eats. Tried the Twice Cooked Pork (very good, if a little salty); Szechuan Prawns (really good) and Kung Pow Prawns (not enough peanuts, a little burnt tasting and too much zuchini--like half the dish). Even the Kung Pow that wasn't my favorite was still pretty decent. Will be ordering again. Also the place has a lot of choices, pretty much anything you've had at a Hunan or Szechuan restaurant before. Unlike a lot of places on Uber Eats.

Overall surprising good food for the taste of americans. 'Mandoo' (korean dumplings) a bit too plain for korean authentic food and Kimchi was the same. Spicy ramen were very nice.I worked in Taiwan with Korean Contractor and they had their own kitchen and cook and in comparison the food was a bit to plain.Overall good selection and good flavour and hence recommend.

P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
P.F. Chang certainly has impressive atmosphere with reproductions of the Terra Cota army around the room, and a massive statue of a horse near the entrance. (Le Cheval down the road also has a horse, but Cheval means horse in French. What's with all these horses?) Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. A little odd- our server asked us "how are we today?", and bringing our food said "Here's our soup" and "Here's our ginger chicken". I was wondering if he was planning on joining us for lunch. We had a small order of spring rolls, which were fried, not fresh, but or server did let us know that was how they were made. They were pretty good. The bowl of hot and sour soup we shared was excellent, and nice blend of piquant and spice. The ginger chicken was disappointing though- we could barely detect any ginger character, which we were looking forward to.A little pricey, $40 or so for lunch.

From the outside, it looks like a typical storefront cafe. Inside, there is no black and red decor typical of Japanese restaurant. The walls and ceiling are your utilitarian off-white color. A chalkboard on the wall listing the appetizers and the ramen menu. This place is a no nonsense ramen shop. When I ordered Chicken Karaage as appetizer, she politely declined explaining that appetizers are served only at dinner. . She said this as she was placing a small complimentary dish of cole slaw salad and 2 pieces of Chicken Karaage in front of me. Another customer came in later and ordered appetizers and she had to explain that it was a dinner time item.Hiroshi Tonkotsu Ramen (house specialty): The pork bone broth has intense flavor while the pork bell slices were more than 1/4-inch thick. The soft-boiled egg was just the right color -- amber yellow with soft yolk with goodness ready to ooze out.The thin noodles were chewy and easy to slurp with the delicious broth.RAMEN HIROSHI only serves ramen, ramen, and ramen, It is a very nice place for a quick lunch during a shopping spree in Walnut Creek downtown.

We went for Lunch and enjoyed two tapas and shared a noodle dish. My husband enjoyed the salt and pepper fried prawns, I ordered the chicken and vegetable pot stickers. Both dishes came with really good sauces! The noodle dish was the filet and chicken garlic noodles and vegetables; again with a delicious sauce!By 12:30 the downstairs dining area was full, there were stairs to an upstairs dining room; I'm not sure how many diners their upstairs area can hold. The food and service were very good! We will go back!

We had the Fresh Mint Rolls as an appetizer and the Pumpkin Curry with chicken. The the rolls were awesome and the pumpkin curry exquisite. The presentation was amazing and the taste was just as impressive. Full service bar, decent wine and beer list. Generous pour on my dates Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay too. Service was quick and attentive. Thanks

A friend had recommended this restaurant. We had their fresh shrimp rolls -- very plain. Their beef pho was just average, the broth did not have a deep flavor. They are very well staffed and the service is excellent. Their prices are reasonable. But overall the food was not special. There is some parking behind the restaurant.

Excellent, beautiful Japanese restaurant in the heart of vibrant downtown Walnut Creek. You canât go wrong with whatever you order. Nice selection of tasty sushi. Lamb riblets are amazing. I also recommend the sautéed spinach with garlic. My only complaint is they donât have hand rolled salmon skin, my favorite sushi item. Plates are to share and come out staggered so that you dine and enjoy your meal. Full bar. On street parking can be challenging. Lovely side patio.

Casual, noisy, but excellent selections of healthy choices. My companionâs turkey burger was terrific and my fish tacos were delicious. Pizzas and a wide range of vegetarian selections. Full bar, nice range of wines by the glass. Great location in the mall next to Macyâs.
