We are a small single family owned take out business specializing in Fiji style Indian home cooking operating from a food court setting. We prepare our food just as our Fiji born Indian mums do back in Fiji. We ARE NOT a five star Taj restaurant. Unfortun
Great place for a tasty and filling lunch for about $12.50 - had the butter chicken curry plate. Each day there seems to be a different "special". Absolutely delicious with ample portions. Free water is available to drink as well. Tables to sit at in a "food court" type area in downtown Wailuku. Delicious homemade food.

We had heard good things about TJ's and drove over there on a late afternoon to stock up on food over the weekend. Very wide assortments of bentos and bento fixings including a good chicken Katsu and garlic chicken. In addition to the premade bentos you can go through a hot table and order ala carts and pay by quart or pint sizes. Plus they take credit cards. There is also an impressive display case of poke but we didn't try any.

This food truckâs grindz were highly recommended by numerous Wailuku locals, so we decided to give a try â and were really glad that we did! Our orders were prepared in short order, and we were pleasantly surprised by the large servings, super fresh ingredients, and totally ono tastes :)). Prices were reasonable as well, service was courteous, and we enjoyed our meal on clean tables under a big tree next to the truck (under the watchful gaze of a gaudy rooster). Definitely worth trying if youâre in the Wailuku area for lunch or dinner... enjoy!

Tokyo Tei in Wailuku has always been one of our favorite places. Not fancy or expensive, this restaurant simply serves good food at decent prices.... a place that locals go, not necessarily visitors.Finding this restaurant is the first challenge... it is located at the back of a covered parking structure. A modest street sign indicates its location. We ordered the Chicken Hekka (Sukiyaki) and their Chicken Katsu. The Chicken Hekka is one our favorites, not a sukiyaki as we normally have, but it is very good. The Chicken Katsu was not quite as impressive.... it was just OK, not great.

Five star for the food and service, three star for the cleanliness and run down bathrooms. Otherwise, a very different bar and restaurant with T.V.âs for sports, bar and tables. Quite dark and dingy feeling.Beyond the ambiance, the menu is extensive and the food very fresh and tasty and the servers were very helpful and friendly!Parking could be an issue when the restaurant is busy. Although itâs a bar atmosphere, itâs very family friendly and handicap accessible. All major credit cards accepted.

Bistro Casanova is located at the ground floor of the Kahului office building, a four stories property across the street from Kahului beach, just one mile from Kahului airport. Your GPS device will probably lead you to the large parking space behind the b

If youâre in the Wailuku area, be sure to stop at this little cafe to enjoy some really ono Japanese food :)). Their menu includes typical dishes (katsu, teriyaki, etc), the miso soup is really yummy, and thereâs fresh Hawaiian fish as well... prices are reasonable, the service is friendly and prompt, and the portions are generous too. Enjoy!

We had seen this place on a best breakfast places in Maui. It was great. It is a hole in the wall diner - does not look that nice from the outside or inside but great food and even better value. Got their banana hotcake (pancakes) and they were amazing. They are big, I ordered it and a side of eggs since I thought it wouldn't be enough. I barley finished the pancakes, but had to because they are amazing.Hi, we really appreciate your feedback and such kind words! We're looking forward to serving you again.

We had their garden spring rolls with shrimp which were ok. Also beef with crispy noodles but the noodles werenât crispy at all. We also had the crispy chicken that was terrific and came with a great dipping sauce.

Pros: excellent service, small unpretentious room clearly enjoyed by lots of locals, low price, the BBQ beef stick was very goodCons: the main draw in many reviews, the 'dry noodles' were bland at best, forgettable to be honest, with overcooked bits of chicken and pork, we did not share the enthusiasm of other reviewers for this menu item and that seemed to be the big draw.
