The restaurant looked quite famous with hundreds of Vietnamese tourists waiting for a table. Its service, however, was really bad. We could not decide where we would like to sit. After seated, we were told to wait in "few minutes" but guess how long we needed to wait? 23 minutes with only fish sauce and vegetable were available. And then, 2 dishes of banh khot were served and we hardly finished them as they were cold, oily and tasteless.

A quite extensive menu, and food generally acceptable, though I found the spicing of some of the seafood too heavy, overpowering the delicate taste of the seafood itself. Very expensive.

On one of two recent visits to Kozak Restaurant, I was delightfully amazed at their beetroot salad. It was the first time I had ever had this particular peculiarly tasty treat. If you've never had it either, you should try it. It has beets, garlic, walnuts and I don't know what else, but it's fantastic.

Gang Hao 2 is located where the speedboat to Saigon use to be on the front side of Vung Tau beach. Itâs a Chinese style restaurant with a variety of Cantonese style dishes. Service is very fast, in terms of setting up tables. Management lack knowledge on wine. We asked if we can order white wine by the glass and asked them what type of white wine was it. The manager said Cabernet and insisted it was white wine. I asked him to bring out the bottle and long and behold it was a chard. For the food, I had a lot of better Hong Kong styled dishes in Chinatown back in Los Angeles. Flavors were bland! Overall, nothing to rave about.

I cannot in all honesty recommend here or the Grand to our clients. I like to think like me , we want life on the level. This resort features cobbled steps to every level, after a time it becomes totally tiresome, forget the weekend it is manicI have already discarded the faded glory if the â Grandâ.... my comments about Grand follows.By the way we have new Associate Viet Anh is joining us as Transport GuideWelcome aboard... ps the fact that after meetings I arrived back to find all facilities shut!!!!

A couple of doors down from the Palace Hotel. They have another restaurant in Ho Chi Minh
Tried the chana masala (chickpeas in brown sauce)with naan.Came with pickles + mint sauce.Very tasty and not a mouth burner.Servers were polite, spoke English.Considering how difficult it must be to purchase the ingredients here the price $5 wasn't expensive.Good location, one block off seafront in an area of Aussie owned bars.

My partner and myself found ourselves at Glenn & Trangs place via a recommendation from Robert Taylor from The museum of Worldwide Arms. We had a great experience, many cold beers and food like mum used to make. I went for the western Hamburger for lunch, Surf & Turf for dinner and a cheese and ham omelet one morning for breakfast. Even had a meat pie and chips with an icy cold beer. My vietnamese partner gave a big thumbs up for the asian food as well. The Long Tan tour was extremely knowledgeable, (Glen knows his stuff) and well worth the money. He gave us some maps that help understand who where and why.Glen also gave us some tips on other places of value to visit and things to do in Vung Tau. I just wish i had planned to stay longer.Definately put Tommy's Bar and Vung Tau at the top of your Vietnam to do list

Patronized this restaurant several times for both lunch and dinner during our 4 days 3 nights stay in vung tau. The menu selection and food proportions are good. Looks like a very popular restaurant as it will be packed if you come late. Very reasonable price and price is without VAT (10% cost saving). Location is easy to find. Highly recommended. Go before 12 noon for lunch or 6 pm for dinner to get good seats.

We ordered lobsters, shrimps, oysters and crab soup. They were all wiped out and satisfied our cravings for seafood. The service was excellent too. The lady who served us made sure that we ate the seafood dishes ~ Viet style, with proper sauces and style. She even shelled themfor us and was attentive to our needs. A must eat place in Vung Tao especially after climbing those steps in Christ the King.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find this quality of food in Vung Tau.All dishes were excellent. The Tandoori fish was so good, the Baji, lamb vindaloo, chicken dishes all spot on. Nan bread bread excellent. The drinks list is patchy re whats available but its a small venue. Getting busier by the sound as people hear about it. Decor is simple but works. Its about half way along zohan Tu Trinh street on tgr mountain side if the road. Fee hundred meters passed Bellys if yiur headed towards back beach. Great find.
