Excellent Cambodian food! We ordered food as take away. We shared chicken nems as a starter. As main courses, we had the amok fish (in banana leaves) that was absolutely delicious and the chicken with garlic and pepper, very tasty as well. The sides: rice and vegetable noodles were big and tasty. Friendly staff. We will definitely come back!

The restaurant is small and gets filled already from early in an evening.Tables all in a row, even those outside. Vey little privacy for a quiet chat.Staff friendly but rushed off their feet.Prices rather steep. One is not offered chopsticks.Wine is served in beautiful glasses which is a plus. The bottled water is warm. Not for me!

Traditional Cambodian Food cooked with love in a friendly familial atmosphere. Come and try, you won't regret it.
Having lived there for a long while I praise myself of knowing Cambodia and its food quite well, so I invited my husband to this Khmer restaurant in Chinatown in the 13eme Arrondissement. (We actually found several more interesting- looking Lao Cambodian Issan restaurants in Belleville where we stayed.) The Bambou d'Or is located in a quiet street off Metro Maison Blanche between Ave d'Italie and Ave Choisy. Honestly, without the recommendations on TA we would not have come here, but we were not disappointed. We ordered Fish Amok and Selor Keko. Both tasted "home- cooked", the Fish Amok less spicy though than I had expected. The service was friendly and swift, the restaurant very clean and tidy. Prices were very reasonable.A nice lunch visit bringing back joyful memories of a beautiful country and its lovely people.

Discover authentic vietnamese food in a cozy hall at Place d'Italie. We serve freshly cooked vietnamese specialities such as nems, springrolls, bobun, pho, bun cha... All dishes and desserts are homemade.
All the reviews I have read about this restaurant are absolutely true. The young couple who welcome you with a great smile are not only charming but also efficient !!! The food is very similar to what one eats in Hanoi. Start with a selection of their appetisers. Then Try the « bo bun » you wonât regret it .... the flavours are great, the portions generous... itâs a whole meal by itself !!!! I usually have beer with my Asian food ....They have a reasonably good beer called Saigon, tastes great with the meal !!! Enjoy the experience. I will certainly return to this cosy little place.

The restaurant is closed from July 14th 2018 to August 15th 2018 included.
Based on so many review decided to venture here, the choices ( compared to good Japanese/ Sushi places) are limited, however quality was good ( had to decide on Salmon). Service was good. If you need authentic Sushi with more choices you should look elsewhere

Yet another return to this amazing, but tiny restaurant. This time we find that the ownership has changed hands which was a little worrying at first, thoughts that were very quickly dispelled. Service was almost immediate and as previously very cheerfully presented. Although there was a large family gathering of a dozen or more taking place service to our table was very quick. We chose five plates, Pad Thai, Bo Bun, Seua Rong Haï (Crying Tiger Beef), Chicken in Ginger and a selection of Lao starters, crispy beef and Lao sausage. We may have ordered more, because all the food is so appealing, but the tiny tables will not accommodate much more, which is a great shame. All the dishes can be spiced to your own level of pain/pleasure. With two beers the total cost was 59â¬, an absolute bargain. We will return many time in the future. The « HEAVEN »!?! A huge huge thanks for your sweet comment ! Next time, we will make sure that all the dishes could be in the table itâs a pleasure to serve and give you the best.Hope to see you Soon.Cheers!LC

I stumbled across this place when I was heading for a different restaurant and thought I would give it a try. The Thai massaman curry had just the right amount of that dry spice taste and the Tuna salad was good too. Very reasonably priced and quick service. Just the right place to drop in to for a quick but enjoyable meal. I'll probably be back before too long.

We visited Gin'ro this evening; five friends all of whom have a taste for good Korean. Two knew (they'd been there before) they would choose the barbecue (beef on both choices); one chose the gyoza, knowing she could and would be sampling other dishes. My companion chose Marmite de fruits de mer au tofu (called SON DU BU in Korean) and I chose the BiBimBap with beef and egg. We were served a very tasty and light broth soup as a starter, along with many little pickled veggies as side dishes. The BBQ & Bibimbap also come with choices of little Korean pancakes (I chose this) or a salmon maki roll or salmon sushi. My friends chose the maki roll, it looked good.BBQ is done as is usual, on a gas-heated hot surface built into the table. Each of the pair who chose BBQ were served a generous platter of beef, sliced very thin and marinated in a sauce. All accompanied by sliced mushrooms and veggies, along with a generous bowl of rice. I sampled the BBQ and it was the best I've had.My Bibimbap came in the sizzling hot stone bowl, and was delicious. You add your own sauce, so you can control just how hot the final dish may taste. I've enjoyed Korean in various restaurants in France and the US (in the company of a Korean co-worker at times) and to my taste, Gin'ro was Very GOOD. Portions were quite generous, none of us had room for dessert.
