Located only 4 km North of Vang Vieng Town, along side the refreshing Nam Song river with spectacular views of the unique mountains and exposed jagged cliff faces showing their natural beauty. Sunset over the mountain ridge is fabulous, enjoying a glass o
We had some very good baguettes and spring rolls. The mulberry wine and juice was interesting and good. The mango fruit shakes were exceptional. The only problem is that the patio is damp and wet covered in algea making it horribly and slippery. In a land with no shortage of labour, this is just poor management.

Weâve eaten a lot of fried rice in our travels in Asia, and this is quite possibly the best weâve had!! We are here 4+ times in our 3 days in VV. Great prices and selection. Service can be slow occasionally but everything is very fresh. Prices start at 15k for most mains.Iâd recommend fried rice, veggie soup, and the smoothies. Also, free coffee and tea and free fruit plate for guests!!! So great.

Dropped in for dinner and ordered stir fried chicken noodles and chicken noodle soup. The CNS was completely tasteless as was the SFCN until I added chilli paste. Also, the SFCN was greasy. Ugh!Everyone else ordered schnitzel. Our mistake. Not very clean in the restaurant.

What a cute place! From the delicious food (try the unique red curry) to the friendly cats and dogs, the view and the lovely garden, it's a great place to stop in for lunch or dinner. I loved it so much, I ate a few meals there while in Vang Vieng. :-)

We went to Oasis Restaurant twice during our time in Vang Vieng, the first being that it was literally right next door to our hotel and was convenient and the second resulting from having a good time the first time. We ordered curry and a traditional lao soup. The owner was so kind as to recommend this soup and even explained how to eat the bamboo (?) or tree bits within it. Food was super yummy and the owner was very friendly and chatted with us about our travels :) The view from the upper floor of Oasis was really great during the day because you can get a good view of the mountains in the distance. Would recommend this place! This is mean a lot for our business. Thank you so much for your supportive. On behalf of Oasis team, we wish you a pleasant holiday. Most Welcome back anytime.

The California pizza (49k) was pretty delicious. The 10-inch pizza has mozzarella and goat cheese, as well as chicken pieces, olives and basil leaves. I had half of the pizza to share and could not get enough of it. I also had the chicken noodle soup (17k) and the portion for this was large. Lots of noodles, chicken pieces, and vegetables in the bowl, topped with shallots and spring onions. It was also tasty. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for it's large portions and affordable prices. The view from the balcony is also nice, and you can hear the music from Smile Bar.

Original dishes cook as in Thailand and Germany, where the cook comes from. Viman Vangvieng, where the food means the culture and the service means the hospitality!!
I found the restaurant on trip advisor looking for gluten free food as a celiac. Due to the excellent reviews I went there and I found the place to eat my whole stay in the town. In the menu it is specified which dishes are gluten free and which ones can be adapted gluten free. Talking to him he also said he knows about contamination and that he is careful using new kitchen tools for the preparation. In total I tried the Lao and the Thai curry as well as the pad Thai. All were delicious. We also got recommend to eat a dessert and the mango with sticky rice was also super tasty! We got it every evening afterwards. The owner is very kind and also the service was good. Fully recommended for celiacs!
