We were disappointed to find our favourite Chinese restaurant (The Lucky Panda) in the nice little mountain town of Valemount closed, so we thought we'd give The Lucky House Restaurant a try. Few complaints regarding the food / service here, although we did note all breaded items on the menu (shrimp / chicken balls, etc.) were covered in a thick, doughy, undercooked batter. If you like deep fried dough, then you'll enjoy these! We also felt prices were too high, considering food quality. Hopefully next time we're passing through Valemount, the Lucky Panda will have reopened.

Off the highway but on Main Street, our group of 14 descended on the restaurant on a very quiet Saturday night, and there was only one staff member working. He quickly called for reinforcements, which arrived within minutes and they got busy with our dinners. Food was excellent and tasty, very reasonably priced, and considering our large group, came out quite quickly, although with understandably staggered timing. Staff were very friendly and responsive, and although the restaurant is quite plain looking, the walls are covered with very interesting Korean decorations. California rolls are very artistically done and tasty. I can't understand the reviews that claim high prices and poor quality. I would make this my go to restaurant in Valemount for an interesting, fun and reasonably priced dinner.

Nothing special here. This dining room looks like a big cafeteria and is not a very comfortable place to eat. The food is just ok. I had the Bulgogi Beef With Rice. Iâve had much better Bulgogi Beef at many different Korean restaurants. Some small towns have hidden gems. This is not one of them.
