A friend recommended this new place because of the boba. That might be the best order there. We had the pad thai, and it was ok, but not the best we have ever had. Best part was the patio dining outside courtyard, with fireplace and fountain. Maybe it was just my meal, because it was packed for lunch on a weekday.
I don't even want to tell you how much I love this place, because then the line will be longer. I'm going to be shooting myself in the foot for writing this review...but each time I'm in Upland, I crave to stop here. This restaurant is newly taken over, and the food is delicious. They have the $20 AYCE, which I see several people coming in for, but I have not personally tried. I enjoy the Volcano roll, which is no raw fish, but salmon on top of Calif. roll. Wow. Something about that sauce "makes me mouth water". They servers are real nice. They bring a huge water right away, and cucumbers with ginger to start you off. They are attentive and want to please you. There is a long line Friday/Sat. nights, out the door, but daytime is ok so far. Not much to the restaurant...it's located in a strip mall, in front of the Lowe's near the massage place and the gas station. You'd never know it was a gem.
Nice small restaurant with good, fast service. It has a sushi bar that sits about 20 patrons as well as small booths for 4 and larger table/booth combos for large parties of 8 to 10. Good quality sushi, tempura and sukiyaki. They have a moderate size menu and I never have had a bad dish here! They have a good selection of beer and saki. large screen TV behind sushi bar can be seen throughout the restaurant and they usually have sports on without sound. Good for friends and family but probably not a first date kinda place.

We ate here in a family group of six on an early Sunday afternoon. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The menu has a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes that all looked very good. We had the fish rice soup, which was new for me, but I would definitely order it again. My wife had the Musaman (yellow curry) chicken. She ordered it not spicy, and they were able to keep the flavor and remove the spice. Other recommended dishes are the cashew chicken, fresh spring rolls, and sizzling duck. We all shared Thai donuts along with sticky rice and mango for desert.
If you order 3+ items from the special menu, you get 50% off everything. Any time, any day - I was told. It is a great deal! Leaving money aside, baked salmon roll is the best sushi experience I've ever had. You'll want to come back just to have one more roll.Non-specialty rolls/sushi are simple (half the price or less) but taste good and are made of fresh ingredients.3 rolls (1 special + 2 non-special) are enough to feed 2 people lunch. The total bill in this case will be less than $20!Finally, one of the chefs is so much fun to watch! You can tell he is great in what he is doing, he enjoys it and takes it seriously.

If you have to bring food for a potluck and don't feel like the hassle yourself... look no further. Srida Thai Cuisine is très magnifique! Great service and serene interiors if you should decide to eat at their location. Located on Central Ave. right before Foothill Blvd. in an old strip mall but don't let that deter you from trying them out. Thai Iced Tea is delicious, the Eggrolls 'da bomb and all of their noodle dishes are savory and delicately prepared by order for you.

We were taken her by some friends originally from India. We had a light dinner.I do not know the names of all of what we had but all the items were absolutely delicious. The first item was a hollow ball of some sort filled with a cold, spiced potato mixture and topped with I-don't-know-what. Wonderful! The next item was masala dosa: a giant pancake of batter made from a fermented sour dough of rice and split black lentils stuffed with an onion concoction, served with some sort of mild lentil soup. I want more! I was eating the dosa by itself as it had a very nice texture and flavor. For anything more, all I can say is all we had was delicious. Spiced well, but not too spicy hot, though hotter things are available. Everything had its own taste and everything was good and flavors were well balanced. With vegetables seasoned this well, who needs meat or milk? I sure don't!Highly recommended; it is the only type of this style restaurant in this area. I will be visiting again as soon as I can!

Small place, not crowded.Business friends enjoyed the yellow curry, which was spicier than they expected.Absolutely loved the clear broth soup. Very tasty and healthful.50-50 knows how to make even a plate of broccoli delicious, so health nuts should be eatting here more often. Friendly servers! Park in the parking structure around the corner.

I wrote a review after the restaurant had been purchased by the new owner and decided to give it another chance. In my first reviews I mentioned how bad it was that for the last 3 times even when we made reservations. Last time we ended up going to another Tappan Grill for my family and I were sat at a table to have the owner asked us to get up for he had made a mistake and sat us at the wrong table. Then he sat two other women at a table for 12 not even asked if there whole party was there which they weren't. We waited a while then my husband asked what our wait would still be and were told another 20-30 minutes and we already at the time waited about 15 minutes. I couldn't wait I am diabetic. The owner didn't care at all and never even apologized. This time there was no wait, we were seated right away. The first thing we noticed was new menu's and all the prices went up. The chef we had sucked he over cooked everything. He burned the fried rice in spots and he only cooked it in oil no butter or garlic butter it tasted nasty like oil and no flavor at all. The shrimp was hard over cooked and crunchy I couldn't even cut it much less bite it. My husband and my calamari was over cooked, almost burned on the back side and rubbery. My son in law and granddaughter steaks weren't medium rare. My family and grandkids ate very little of anything. The whole meal wasn't good it was a waste of money. We also had some sushi and the man that made it didn't even know how to roll a tight roll it kept falling apart and no it wasn't Edofo. I have came to Kishi for over 30 years it used to be really good. It's sad to say but I won't be back. This is my 3rd attempt with the new owner. Oh, also talked to the Chef the old owner the Joker who told all the jokes passed away.... how sad.... we really liked him. Before he left he had told me that he was going home to see his mom well he got sick and never got to make it. RIP

Panda Inn is a leader in upscale Chinese cuisine. The restaurant was established through the vision of Andrew Cherng, founder and chairman of parent company Panda Restaurant Group, and his father, Master Chef Ming-Tsai Cherng. The concept remains simple -
Classy restaurants with exceptional Chinese food. On the expensive side but its due to fresh quality ingredients you don't get at heat lamp restaurants.
