Vietnamese restaurants are not nearly as common in Nord Rhein Westfallen as one might hope. This is a very small family run restaurant. I tried it due to other reviews. I had lunch on a Sunday afternoon and, I was the only customer in the restaurant. The menu did not offer either of my favorite Vietnamese dishes (Bun Bo Hue, Bun Cha Ha Noi) but did have a very tasty Bun dish. Service was fast and friendly, the food was fresh and tasty. I will try this place again for dinner and compare it against another nice Vietnamese restaurant in Bonn. Price for lunch with water was about â¬11. There is public parking nearby and it is free on Sunday and reasonable during the week. The restaurant is near the Oktopus water sport area and is very easy to find.

De verwachting was zeer hoog van dit Thaise restaurantje. We kwamen binnen en er zat 1 tafeltje. Mijn gevoel zei, nee, maar we gingen naar binnen en zitten. De ober vertelde van alles over de Thaise keuken, curry en dat alles vers werd bereid. De scherpte van de gerechten kon aangegeven van 1-5. Aangezien wij wel wat gewend zijn, immers wij eten Thai in Thailand, Berlijn, Spanje en Nederland, maar wij zijn toch ook voorzichtig en we kozen voor scherpte 2. Immers er kan altijd nog peper bij....De Thaise soep met kokos en kip was te zout en te scherp voor klasse 2.Daarna de 3 hoofdgerechten. 1 kip met verse peper een penangcurry, meestal niet zo pittig en een nam hua beefsalade. Alles sterkte 2, immers beter iets meer peper erbij op je bord, want eraf kan niet.Het kook resultaat was zeer teleurstellend. De salade was te zout en te pittig, geen goede balans van zuur, zout en pepers. De kip en eend smaakte hetzelfde, te heet, door te veel chilipoeder. We hebben de meeste gerechten moeten laten staan en hebben droge rijst gegeten. Oh ja, we hadden ook nog voorgerechten. De gefrituurde spullen waren vet, maar OK en de saté was te zout. Jammer, ik begrijp nu waarom de tent zo goed als leeg was....

I enjoy cooking asian food and buy my supplies at an Asian grocery store in Siegburg. They recommended Hoa Sen over 2 years ago. I have eaten here several times and the quality and service have remained consistently good. The food is fresh and tasty. One of my favorites are the self-rolled spring rolls. The meal is ordered for two and includes a platter of meat, fresh vegetables, dipping sauce, and rice paper. You can choose the ingredients and make your own spring roll. Definitely worth driving to Troisdorf to try it!

We went for what we thought would be a light snack meal on the way to the $bowling club, opting for the "All you can eat" option ( £21.90 per person ) - they give you a tablet and you can order 5 portions every 15 minutesLet's say we didn't get to play bowling that night - after sampling very tasty philadelphia rolls, salmon and tuna sushimi, spicy udon noodles, tasty gioza dumplings, chicken and prawns skewers, followed by what seemed like tens of other superb dishes and polishing couple of superb bottles of red wine we were unable to play anything extra energetic, so we opted for snooker insteadThank you to all the staff at the Mikado for looking after us that night !!!

This is a very popular restaurant so best to make a reservation. It has a nice atmosphere and service is generally good (note however that they prefer payments in cash and donât accept MasterCard). The food was pleasant enough but Iâd say average in quality.
