The food is good. Similar to home. Its interesting to find malay food in a small town. We had the mee goreng. It is good. Well recommended.

It was so busy in Taihape we thought we'd try a different place. There was a Chinese group dining here and it smelled good so we thought we'd give its lunch menu a try.It is standard fare - fried rice or noodles, lemon chicken and usual wonton soup.I opted for fried rice. It was good enough but what was particularly good was the generous number of shrimps which were very fresh and tasty.
