Took adult children to dinner with grandma for her birthday. Spring rolls were piping hot and tasty. Dumplings, Happy Family, and walnut chicken were delicious. Szechwan Chicken ordered extra spicy was fine, but oily...like the sauce separated. This was a first. We love the newly renovated decor and will return like always!

Stir-fry restaurant where you can create-your-own bowl from a selection of over 80 fresh ingredients.
You make your own bowl here. Multiple kinds of meats, vegetables , toppings, everything you can think of. Even a raw egg to add to your bowl. You can get rice, lettuce leaves or a form of flat bread to go with your bowl. They cook the food on a large grill in the middle of the restaurant while you watch. Also multiple sauces to choose from. Make your bowl huge and take the rest home for lunch tomorrow. Nice experience. Be sure to sign up for the Birthday club. You receive a free bowl on your birthday. Nice salad bar also comes with your meal. Way too much to eat!!! Enjoy.

A friend invited me to join him and I'm glad he did. My "sub" was very tasty and his seafood pho was too. Give it a try!

Best sushi in Toledo!
Sori is conveniently located near the mall in Toledo, OH. This makes it a great place to stop. The sushi has always been good and the price is very reasonable. The service has always been friendly and wonderful. One waitress even took the time to give a lesson in the art of chop stick use to a friend who had never used them before.

Nice choices of meats for hibachi style cooking. Chefs come to table to cook and are very entertaining. I prefer the chicken or steak and shrimp. Both were great. You can choose stir fry or white steamed rice. Wait staff was attentive. Love to come here for something special!

Good food. Nice people. Interesting inside. It probably could use some mild updates inside. The food is tasty and decent selections. Masaman curry and green curry with tofu is my favorite. Tom Ka Tofu soup is excellent too. It's not the best Thai I've had ever, but the best I've had in Toledo by quite a bit.

If you're looking for a more professional atmosphere to host a luncheon or dinner, the board room at Kyoto Ka is the perfect option for you.
Recommended by a Foodie friend - this was a delightful early evening on a Saturday dinner. We had the jalapeno appetizers and 3 sushi selections - 2 cooked, 2 raw tuna spicy roll. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. But the spicy was HOT! We shared a large Hot Saki between us. Our waitress was charming and attentive - and didn't tell us til after the meal that she was brand new! Amazing job! They have a large menu with great descriptions and so much to choose from. Can't wait to go back.

Just ate at Kotobuki again last week... it is always a relaxed, Zen-like experience marked by an unhurried pace and excellent food. This IS a sushi place, but you have other choices if sushi is a turnoff. The teriyaki, tempura, sukiyaki and noodle dishes (featuring chicken, steak, shrimp and salmon) provide cooked options, but the sushi is fresh and beautifully presented. Many of the sushi choices are served in bamboo "boats" of varying sizes brought to the table.I am not a sushi aficionado but always enjoy the food, ambience and presentation. The sushi chefs work at an open counter and watching them is inspirational... they are artists with food. Warning: This is NOT a "cheap eats" place. Anytime I've been here (with a party of three) the bill came to about $100, give or take. Entrees range from $15-$22 with basic sushi pieces priced from $5-$8 for 2-3 pieces or up to $15 for individual specialty items. Still, if you have the desire or opportunity to spend a bit more for a laid-back, unhurried, civilized evening, Kotobuki is well worth the money and time.
