Just moved here from Chico and haven't been amazed by any place in town until noe! This place is so good and worth the visit! Our food was fresh and quick. The owner is friendly and the staff is just as friendly! I wasn't disappointed and I would defintly recommend this place to you. Everything is good

Susanville is a small town with few choices for dinner. I would highly recommend The White House! The owner is friendly, but a little defensive after having received some bad reviews on Tripadvisor. Service can be a little slow, because, as the owner explains it, "sometimes nobody comes at all and then everyone comes at once." There is only one cook (his wife) so some delay is to be expected. We had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, which were excellent. For mains we shared a Thai version of cashew chicken and Pad Thai with chicken. Both were very good. We live in San Diego and are blessed with many excellent Thai restaurants, and The White House is as good as any in San Diego. I would return to The White House again.

I ate here with family last weekend. There are only 2 options in Susanville for sit down Chinese and this is the better of them. (The other being happy garden). The food is a bit more unique than the typical orange chicken and rice, but this entire place needs to be cleaned. The silverware, tables, decor, booths and the menus are dusty and sticky. I am surprised no one has said anything. It made for a very awkward experience. And the only reason I didn't leave was because I was with my elderly family and they were hungry. Cleanliness aside the food was delicious. The wait staff is polite and attentive, I just couldn't enjoy myself seeing so much to clean all around me. My recommendations: get your food to go! Try the curry chicken, spicy Kung Pao chicken, and the vegetable egg foo young.

This restaurant is pretty typical of other Panda Express restaurants we have eat at. It is Chinese-ish fast food... a break from burgers and fries. Nice folks working there and the place was clean.
