Wow this establishment was really good. We were on the hesitant side when we walked in but we're impressed overall. The menu is both Japanese and Chinese. My daughter had sushi and I had shrimp and cashews. The wonton soup was so very good. Both were outstanding. We will definitely go again. They also do carry out.

We have several Japanese establishments in Strongsville. Two are hibatchi type and more popular, but personally I prefer Sakura Sushi House. They can do a table side hibatchi, but I prefer to order off the menu.Presentation is lovely and the food was fresh and tasted very good.

We went there on Memorial Day after a day at the beach. We were the only diners in the place. Itâs a chain set up like Chipotle with a standard menu but you can build your own bowl/plate from scratch too. I got the Chicken Cobb Greens big bowl and my boyfriend got the Southwest Grilled Chicken & Forbidden Rice big bowl. They were ok; I like Paneraâs Chicken Cobb better. We both agreed they needed more chicken. We liked that you can customize each bowl; the staff was happy to provide substitution options. The ingredients were fresh, healthy (i.e., quinoa, brown rice, kale) and tasted good but each was kind of bland; cannot put my finger on exactly why. We each got a âbigâ drink (it was the size of a small anywhere else) as you get a selection of different drinks like Beet Lemonade; no traditional sodas here which I appreciated. We got the Coconut Water Fruit Punch and the Raspberry Iced Tea. Both were very good so I highly recommend getting a drink. Just donât say a small drink or you get a âkiddieâ glass that holds 4 oz. Each bowl was $9-$10 but I had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon so with that and the 2 drinks it came to $16. With the coupon thatâs acceptable but Iâd probably pass on the place without one.

We went to Samurai on a Saturday night, there was a long wait for the Hibachi, however were were there for the sushi. We sat at the sushi bar, our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. As we were sitting there the, the sushi chef handed us the bar special, which we didn't order, but they wanted us to try it, it was awesome. Our sushi and sashimi dinner had great variety, we subbed out the California roll (boring) and ordered the chefs special roll which was one of the best rolls we have ever had, multiple sushi and then it also had lobster on the top.

Dine on original sushi rolls, a four-pound giant clam, South African lobster and USDA choice steaks at Shinto Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar in Strongsville. Innovative cocktails and daily specials round out the features of this hibachi-style gem.
This is a hibachi restaurant. But I go for the sushi. It is the only place I order sushi from in this area. You can taste the freshness and admire the craftsmanship of the sushi chef's. Since it is a hibachi restaurant the regular seating area is small. You can opt to sit at the sushi bar or in the regular bar area. I would recommend making resverations. The cost is midlevel. I have eaten my way around the sushi menu and no matter if it was the regular spicy tuna roll or my own mix and match it has all been delicious. My wife orders from the non sushi menu and has enjoyed all her meal choices as well. I highly recommend them for their sushi and dinner menu. We have never tried the hibachi side but it always sounds like they are having fun and it's always busy so that must mean something.

We were on vacation in Ohio and wanted to find a Thai food restaurant that reminded us of home. This restaurant did that very thing! We had the won tons and the spring rolls as appetizers. The plum sauce was sweet and savory. Bothe appetizers were delicious. For dinner we had the Panang Curry with Chicken and the Pad See Ew with Beef. Bothe were amazing in their own way! The waitress did a great job. She was friendly and attentive. When we come back to Ohio, we shall return!!

After hearing everyone rave about the food I finally got to eat there myself. Yes the food is good, but I would call it a very Americanized version of Thai food. Having been to Thailand many times I would not call it truly authentic Thai food. For those who want to expanded your eating horizons just a bit and are afraid to try new foods this would be a good starting point for you in a introduction to Thai food.. First timers I would recommend Pad Thai, for those a little more adventuress , go with the Som Tam (green papaya salad) , Laab or Larb (minced meat salad), Tom Yum Goong (spicy shrimp soup), Tom Kha Gai. (chicken in coconut soup), or any of the curry dishes.
