this is an exceptionally good japanese restaurant, tucked away behind the church of Stormbeek-Bever, not very visible, and maybe that explains why it is never really crowded. let that not scare you away, the food is absolutely wonderful, and you will want to retunr there, over and over again.this place deserves far better visibility!

We have been here several times and had the joy of going back on Saturday with some friends. If it was nice before, I thought it was even nicer now, I loved the warm decoration and beautiful plates and crockery.Service is very efficient and friendly and the food was delicious, served on hot plates, and very refined. We ate every morsel and enjoyed every single one.It is very close to the Atomium, so for tourists visiting Brussels it is very convenient and for locals it is a must. I will certainly go back, soon I hope and really recommend

Already when I called to make a reservation the person of Formosa spoke poor French, English and certainly not Dutch. We arrived at the restaurant 19h30, the place was empty on a Thursday evening. The interior seemed much bigger than can be seen from outside and well very decorated. The waitress immediately gave us the menu but then did not come for about 10 minutes. So, I decided to call her myself because we wanted a drink while choosing. The entrees were very good! Me and my husband had a mixture of dim sum and my mother a misture of vietnamese (nem, sate). When we received the main course, our plates were almost thrown on the table. And my plate already smelled very bad when it arrived. I had checken in coconutmilk with tomatoes and "citroenmelisse" It was really horrible, although I love coconut. My mother had something that was perhaps wrongly translated... the menu said "geroosterde eend with as translation "canard laque", which is really not the same. The duck was horrible, with only rice and a few slices of cucumber and awful sauce, they called "barbeque" (when we asked". I have eaten oriental on lots of occasasions, but although it was perhaps not always the highest standard it was certainly not as bad as here and certainly cheaper. No, we will never come back here...

Just 2 minutes walk away from the Best Western Expo Hotel, 25 minutes walk from Palais 12 and slightly less to the rest of Expo. Lovely atmosphere, very light and pleasant. Friendly (and good English spoken). We had one of the set meals (25 Euros each) and there was plenty of very good and well-cooked food. Would recommend.
