Very good, flavorful Chinese food at a cheap price.I'm fairly picky about my sesame chicken. I loved my neighborhood place in New York City when I was young and have struggled at times to find comparable sesame chicken, with the right sweet, thick sauce to truly satisfy. Joy Yee's in Evanston, IL, did it. So did China Chef. The cashew chicken was also quite good. The fried rice was superb â delightfully moist and flavorful. The egg roll was nice too â perfectly crisped. The hot and sour soup was quite good. But ultimately what stood out was the wonderful sweet sauce of the sesame chicken. And, of course, the incredibly cheap price: $20 for egg rolls, two chicken dishes and a large soup!

I really wanted to like New Peking. The family that runs the place is just so sweet and could not be more helpful and attentive. The place is a real bargain at $10 USD for dinner. My objection is really the quality of the food which is just not good. I tried several of the dishes and found not one to be well executed. I know that you don't expect much from buffet Chinese but come on! Even the dumplings were barely edible. I just can't see myself returning... even if really craving Chinese.

My wife and I don't often get to the "Far East", so Streetsboro has to work for us! Tai Wah, while occupying on old Pizza Hut building has the food to take us to the Orient. The food is excellent, reasonably priced, in great volume, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

After a long wait and driving by daily for signs of life I was thrilled about the news the restaurant was finally reopening. It has closed back before Christmas for renovations and updates. I was excited about the hibachi grills where you can watch the chef prepare the food right in front of you, a bit of a dinner and show. I went on a Friday evening the first night kicking off the first weekend the restaurant reopened. Assuming it would be busy but was prepared for the wait, luckily we seemingly beat the rush as there were only a few other groups of patrons when we arrived. At first everything was going off with out issue. My family and friends opted to sit at the hibachi grill and enjoyed watching the chef and the food was fantastically prepared our dinners and the sushi and other appetizers we ordered were exceptional. However throughout the course of our dinning experience, either do to short staff and/or learning curve with the new set up the service began lacking. Our waitress seemed to have disappeared after bringing appetizers returning once only to check on the food but offered no other service as dirty dishes and empty glasses now filled the table. We saw more of the hostess than our waitress and she finally removed the dirty dishes provided us boxes we promptly requested our checks. It took an extremely long time to just get boxes and our checks before again the waitress disappeared with our credit cards for a very long time. Finally we went to the desk to request our bill be settled where the obviously overwhelmed hostesses were trying to run damage control as other patrons were obviously having the same issues as us. As we inquired about the whereabouts of our cards so we could settle the bill to leave the complaints of the other patron trying to relay his frustration seemed to have burdened upon the overwhelmed hostesses, who really tried to apologize but had little control at this point. It was disappointing experience slightly saved by the fact the food was very good. I hope that they do iron out the staffing issues. I will give them the fact the new set up will no doubt need some getting used to. As for me I think if I am having a craving for hibachi or sushi Iâll just be ordering take out for the time being.
