Discover Restaurants offering the best Asian food in Staunton, Virginia, United States. The city planners in Staunton, Virginia, were very careful to preserve the town's heritage, keeping power lines and cell towers out of view in the historic districts, allowing nothing to interrupt the charm of local restaurants and shops operating out of original Victorian storefronts. Staunton is also the home to the Frontier Culture Museum, The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and the American Shakespeare Center, staging plays at the world's only replica of the Blackfriars Playhouse.
Things to do in Staunton
Have eaten here several times. Small buffet with several items that are tasty. Depending on when you come in, items can be sparse. I have not don it, but I have heard people ask for empty items to be filled. Price is reasonable for what they serve. Only Chinese buffet that I know about in Staunton.
When we are in the mood for Chinese, we call China House. You can eat in their restaurant which is small but they also offer carry out/delivery. We have ordered several items from their menu and the food is always great. The sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken is very good. The price is in line for what you get. They accept debit/credit cards for payment and they have a parking lot.

I can't rave enough about how delicious this food is. Throw all your conceptions about fast food Asian fare out the window. This tastes as good as, or better than, fancy hibachi style restaurants. You can be in and out of the drive through in 10 minutes, and you will pay half what you would at Kyoto or Massaki. You can get any menu option either hibachi or teriyaki style, including steak, chicken, and shrimp. The rice and yum yum sauce are positively addicting!

We are regular "year -end" travelers to Staunton, and decided to try something different. Ubon's Thai Restaurant and Inn fit the category. Located a little from the downtown Staunton restaurant "district" we were the only customers in the brightly decorated (for the holidays) dining area. Owner Ubon was the cheerful & helpful hostess as described in other TA reviews. We ordered the fresh spring rolls and dumplings for appetizers..both delicious.I ordered hot tea and partner had a red wine. For dinner we had a veggie dish and a shrimp dish..both served with rice. If you want "thai hot" it is available-if you dare.

Decided to eat here during a business lunch, nice friendly staff and food came out quick. It was fresh and very tasty, we sat at the tables and not the grill. Seams to come out a little quicker. Over all very satisfied.

This has become my 6 year olds favorite place - she loves the âmeatball soup.â Delicious, priced right, comforting Pho. The sandwich was just ok- pho is very good. I hope they add more to the menu. I can foresee getting the soup takeout on a cold winter day.

This was our first time visiting Thai Staunton but definitely not the last. The staff was so friendly and polite. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Lava Chicken and Pad See Ew. The portions were huge! The food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh.
