So, the staple dish I associate with Thailand, is pad thai...and do NOT get it here. Their vegetable dishes and curry are great though...and very well priced! The mittags (weekday lunch) menu is also awesome! I don't like sushi, but have heard good things about theirs here! :)

Cooking Khan was recommended to me by some German friends, and it sure did live up to my expectations, we also took our Taiwanese friends from our International Youth Camp and they were impressed how the quality of food surpassed the Chinese food in their own country. The Waitress was polite and helpful to us and she spoke 3 languages fluently which was convenient to us all. There was a lot of variety to choose from on the all you can eat buffet, and I even helped myself to some rarities such as Kangaroo, Llama and Shark! The quality of the food was excellent and I would definitely return here again, and I have recommended it to friends

I was stayed in Starnberg for 2 weeks for business trip. Bored with western food and together with our customer from Vietnam visit this restaurant. The owner was a Vietnamese, so overall the taste is similar to food in Vietnam I can say that.During the trip we visited this place twice and have nothing to complaint about the food quality.Reader if you want to try i highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant. They made shushi as well and very nice.

Service is always so nice here from all of the staff! Even the cooks who you can watch make your meal, or you can sit outside on the beautiful terrace where they plant some greens and flowers

We stumbled on this place in Starnberg, which as Starnberg is pretty small it was difficult to find. The restaurant is right next to the restaurants Asian market which is how we discovered this little gem. I suppose having your own Asian market helps with the food quality. This place is about as big as a closet. The kitchen is an open kitchen, and I think the owner is the cook, at least she acts like it. One of my most frequent complaints about Asian food in Germany has always been how it becomes Germanized, not very spicy, flavors are tame, not enough chilis, not enough curry, you get the picture. Not so with this place, it is very good, a bit expensive but very good. Try the beef salad as a starter (when she feels like making it) and then the curries, the red is the best. Careful if you ask for spicy, she is Thai, and she will blow the back of your head off with chilis. I was not sure if I should write about this place or not as I wanted to keep it a secret. Good luck when you try to make a reservation, which I suggest as this place is really small, their language skills are sketchy, but their food is brilliant. They also have a daytime Imbiss (walk-up) at another location, oddly enough the foods was just as good as the restaurant, same lady was cooking (duh).

Fantastic, Authentic Indian cusine in teh heart of Starnberg
We ate here recently, and the food was average. If you want basic Indian food, this restaurants is okay. However it is not very authentic at all, the sauces served with the papadums was 100% store bought, most of the curry sauces tasted similar, the service was okay but it took such a long time for the food to arrive. But the naan was really good! I'd say its a good take out place for some okay Indian food, but really not the best.

This is a very nicely decorated Asian restaurant with friendly servers. We enjoyed our three entrees of Argentina steak, Saigon Sampler and the kids fried noodles with chicken and vegetables. Our 10 year old didnât like the fried egg bits on his kids noodles but I did. The menu is in German but I translated it into English before we arrived. A little parking on the street, toilets are downstairs.

guess, since we know how to make sushi we go very critical when swinging by such restaurants. this particular one is ok...i cannot call it so so authentic. the huge shaped sushis are served with fork and knife since not everyone would avail chopstick techniques. you can't get that taste without chopsticks plus the huge sushis are hard to gulp in...the smaller ones are always nice. it is perhaps catered for local germans.

Ambience very IndianDecent service. Vegetable biriyani was rich in flavours of spices.Last but not the least Paneer tikka..had ordered it for the starter.Though it wasn't in the menu,on request they accepted to make it.Paneer was extremely soft, fresh and perfectly made.Very happy to have had it.
