Their business card says Neul Bom at the address above. It's an All-You-Can-Eat traditional Koean BBQ restaurant, where plates of meat are brought to your table, and you cook it yourself on the table's built in gas grill. No seafood, but very good side dishes, which along with the meat, is AYCE for $10.99. Tonight was our 3rd time there. The $10.99 AYCE has Angus beef brisket, 5 stars after a little seasoning of your choice; also regular beef brisket which is stringy but OK, 3 stars; chicken, 3 stars; spicy pork, 4.5 stars; 4 stars for the classic spicy tofu soup; and 4 stars for all the side dishes. Repeat customers may not find all the sides from a previous visit - our last visit was without potato salad or free ice cream (4 stars for either). Normal service for this type of restaurant. The $15 AYCE menu has the Asian deilcacy, pork belly, but as usual, it was all we could do to eat most of the meat. There was only one server for the 20 or so patrons during our dinner, and nobody ran out of food, nor did I see or hear any complaints about the service. The street side of this place is noisy, being on the main drag of Beach Blvd., so if you want it quieter, ask for a table farther back from the traffic. Fairly clean, but not spotless eatery, with very plain adornments.
Finally checked out my neighborhood Hiccups & Churroholic after a year of anticipation. Its designed nicely with its open space. Pricey drinks & snacks but when you see the portion i suppose it evens out. Ordered: Garlic Chicken Noodles- not really impressed, chicken was hard and not flavored. Didn't taste any garlic in the noodles either.Chicken Kim Chi Rice - not bad plenty of flavors topped with a sunny side up egg. Taro Smoothie - I love all things taro so this was my favorite part of everything. Customer service was excellent.

Discovered Curry House when we lived in Cypress. Unique taste that you crave after you experience it! Katsu Curry (pork or chicken) is our family's favorite. They do a great job on the seafood Curry with rice pilaf as well. Staff is efficient and remembers you and your order! A rarity in customer service these days!

The black cod at a highly rated and expensive Japanese restaurant at Caesar's in Vegas was good. However, we found a better version right in our neighborhood in Cypress for half the price! Cypress may be known as hometown of erstwhile golf wonder Tiger Woods and for foodies, the US HQ of House Foods (Curry House, ubiquitous tofu packages sold at supermarkets, and partner of BCD Korean Tofu House), among others, I believe Cafe Hiro deserves greater name recognition. The entire menu with many choices is REALLY reasonably priced. E.g.: no menu-listed entrees over $30. Food quality and preparation are very good. We found out after seated that the chef was off on this Tuesday evening when we visited; the place was crowded nonetheless and our dishes were delicious. For appetizer, we ordered crisp whole dried shrimps, the daily special, (4 huge tasty shrimps with heads on for $8), Tofu salad, black cod, sea bass, spinach mushroom pasta and sea urchin pasta. The entree fish dishes came with salad (greens with yummy miso dressing, and pumpkin soup (too watery and lukewarm for my taste) served in a cup inexplicably without a saucer underneath. The atmosphere in this small restaurant (about a dozen tables) was nice. Service was adequate. I canât wait to go back again to try the Kurobuta (black pig) Pork.

Five of us came for lunch on Saturday and were seated right away at 12:30pm. We added 3 gyozas to a ramen for $2 extra. That was a mistake since the gyozas were squishy and small, not crispy. The Kikuni Deluxe was disappointing. The only good part of it was the pork belly; otherwise it was very bland. Adding chili powder and soy sauce to it helped just a little. We also had the pan fried noodles, and they were okay; I prefer the Chinese version. The fried rice covered in omelet was kind of good, but had too much gravy on it.However, the #1 favorite ramen (with spinach noodles) was awesome and the broth was full of flavor. I would come back again, but get the #1 and none of the other stuff.

We ordered the Tom Ka Gai (coconut milk chicken soup). There was a generous helping of chicken in there, the flavors were excellent with the lemon grass and lime leaf coming through. I requested mild spice, which wasn't spicy at all; next time I'd go for medium spice. We had the Tom Yum Gai (chicken and mushroom soup), which was also very good and flavorful.

They have a large sushi rolls. Plenty to eat. Two rolls are almost too much for one person.. Their dragon roll and rainbow roll are good. None of the sushi is anything special. Small place. Nothing that I would say I have to go back for.

Japanese food by actual Japanese people. Having traveled to Japan in many occasions, this place is refreshing. Very authentic in its menu offerings and preparations. Sushi was fresh, and a wide variety is on hand. Steak was tender, soba noodles were excellent. Nice wine list as well. Even some by Orin Swift.

Nice large restaurant, very comfortable, and includes counter service. Food is NEW YORK JEWISH DELI style, so smoked pastrami, corned beef, tongue, salami, smoked fish, potato pancakes, matzo ball soup, Knish, borscht, and way so much more.Service is usually very good and was this time as well. My wife and I were there with my daughter, son in law and our grandson.Pickles came out first and were replenished on request.I had pastrami and corned beef on rye, called Randy's Choice. My wife had Chicken Salad on a Kaiser roll. Daughter and son in law each had pastrami. The place is less consistent then I would like, sometimes the meat is too fat or too stringy; sometimes the bread slices are too small. This time the bread was the right size and the meats were lean and melted in your mouth. The pickles, a free appetizer, were full dills. My 20 month old grand son ate most of the first plate of them so we asked for more.Food comes out quickly. The server stays nearby so we never waited for service. There is always a wait to be seated, but at the end of the meal you can go back through the restaurant and into their fresh bakery which is extensive and luscious appearing. We always get some cookies for my wife or kids. I usually buy a rye bread to extend the experience. I love this place and there is nothing better or even as good in Orange County or even south Los Angeles county.

Having recently visited Myanmar/Burma - and fallen in love with their food - I looked forward to trying a Burmese restaurant in southern CA. They did not disappoint! I had samusas and a pork/pumpkin curry, both of which sent my taste buds back into heaven. (Caution: the dip for the samusas is spicy!). The staff was friendly, even more so when they found out I had been to Burma recently.
