Great food. This is not your same old, same old Chinese trstaurant. The food quality here was great, the taste was wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect. Don't let the exterior shy you away. The food and service inside are both wonderful.

I had been watching the work go on this place for several months now. And it has finally opened! I was going to Walmart and noticed cars everywhere. The parking lot was packed. So I told my hubby as soon as the crowds died down, we would try it. Well, we were in Walmart one day and came out. The crowds hadn't died down but we were starving so we decided to go in. It was packed but it is huge inside so we were able to get a table without a problem. You will find your typical Chinese food buffet here...chicken and broccoli..chow mein..noodles..etc. They also have plenty of seafood..all kinds of shrimp, oysters, crawfish..etc. Though most of it is shellfish and I am allergic. You have salad, eggrolls, and soup. They have a hibachi grill where they will fix your plate. They also have a sushi bar. But if none of this is to your liking, they have chicken, meatloaf, pizza etc. And the dessert bar..oh my! So there should be something for everyone in your party. Now the good thing about this being packed is that food doesn't sit her long so it is always being changed out and it fresh. My husband is a shrimp lover and they have a variety so that is his first round. I just do some soup and beef and broccoli. We both go up several times and they food here is great. Tastes fresh and always hot. Our server is Iris and she is great keeping our drinks refilled and removing our plates. My last stop is the dessert bar and oh my word it is good. When we were done we were so stuffed we needed to be rolled out. Prices here are very good. For 2 adults..dinner buffet..and drink $23! We can spend that going to Zaxby's! So we will be going back and this will be one of our regular go to spots. There is plenty of parking and again your in a strip mall with Walmart, Michael's, and lots of other great places. One word of caution. You pay before your seated and you have to add the tip on then if you want to tip. But I don't like adding a tip until I see if I am getting good service. So if your using a card and want to wait to tip..bring cash. But otherwise I highly recommend this place.

Terrific spring rolls. Delicate spices in very fresh, high quality ingredients. Large portions at a fair price. Friendly, fast, no-hassle service. Not fancy, but worth a visit !

Owner and chef Katsu So came to the United States when he was 17 years old. After learning the art of Sushi in New York City, Katsu and his wife opened "Wasabi Japanese Restaurant Inc." on November 5, 2001.Katsu was The first Sushi-Chef in Spartanburg,S.C
This is a family owned hole in the wall restaurant set back of the street in a small strip. The service here was very good, no complaints at all, everyone was really nice. Otherwise, it would've scored a 2.I had sushi. The sushi wasn't bad, but it was far from great. I had hibachi. I love good hibachi. I didn't love this. It didn't look or taste crisp and fresh. The rice tasted like it had been cooked quite a bit earlier, or microwaved. I love Japanese food, but this just didn't do it for me. Dear friend,Thank you for give us a review. We will try to do More better in the future to correct it and make it better. BTW we do not have a "hole in the wall" are you sure that you has been in our restaurant? I hope you are not a hacker who work over Internet.

We making real taste of Thai food. Fresh and homemade such as Pad Thai, Fried rice, Masaman chicken ( No1. Thai food) ,etc. Stop by and have a try. We won't disappoint you. See you at The Taste of Thai.
This attractively decorated restaurant is in a small strip mall next to Leslie's Pool. I stopped in for lunch and greatly enjoyed the food. The lunch special is around $10. depending on which meat you choose, and comes with your choice of 2 sides. I picked the soup Tom Kah, which was perfect, and a spring roll. Unlike other Thai restaurants, the spring roll is rice paper over raw vegetables. But I enjoyed it with the dipping sauce they serve with it. (You can also get an egg roll or salad as one of your choices.)The pad thai was excellent and portion was so generous that I will also enjoy it for dinner.

Wonderful and very extensive menu. Super early bird specials. Totally yummy. Only problem was when I needed to be seated the hostess tried to put me in an empty back room. Front had plenty of seating so the attitude I got at asking to sit in front was off putting. Still would go back.

Departed from my favorite Thai dish, Massaman Curry and decided to try the Pad Thai for my first visit here. Turned out to be a good Choice. The dish was delivered quickly. The helping was very large and the taste was excellent. The place is small, nice and quiet. The waitresses were friendly an attentive. Very enjoyable experience.

Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in Spartanburg. The food was delicious and fresh, I love the stuffed chicken wings and shrimp rolls. Favorites are the fried rice dishes, Pud King Sod & the shrimp curry. The service is also very good and very friendly.

have not had a bad meal or experience on any visit here. We each had their Basil with Eggplant this visit, having chosen to eat less meat. Wife had hers with tofu, husband with pork and a side of fried rice. Really, really good. Wife had a red wine she thought was good.As always, server was top notch. We were attending some outdoor music across the street and it was hot out--they kept our leftovers in their fridge for us to pick up later. One of the best restaurants in downtown Spartanburg.
