Our family has ordered here many times. They always get our order right and the food is always good. We have tried other places in westfield but have never gotten as good of a meal.
Home-style Noodles,Soups,& More
Went here for date night by accident. Definitely glad we found the place. Wish the menu had more options doe. But my spicy chicken noodle soup was amazing. And my husband fried rice noodle with chicken was also amazing. Definitely plan on coming back.

Great place for carryout. Huge servings and LARGE menu to select from. They do a buffet at lunch and dinner too.We order take out once a month and end up eating the food for 3 dinners, that is how much they provide. Egg Rolls are tasty, Chicken Lo-Mein is a favorite and Spicy Beef is always good. Crab Rangoon is always ordered (although we pass on the red sauce).Need a quick dinner, Give China Star a call.

We have been driving by this restaurant for years, perhaps decades. Truth be told, while we enjoy many Asian cuisines (Indonesian, Philippine, Thai, Vietnamese and various Chinese Regions), Japanese is our least favorite. Still, some friends had some good things to say about them and we decided to give them a try, It's hard to change preferences/prejudices and unfortunately our dinner didn't.The service was friendly but a bit blase' and lackadaisical. Our appetizers, Spring roll and Tempura Shrimp arrived at room temperature. We had to ask for knives to cut the former. My wife's salad was fine and my soup forgettable. Our mains, her Tempura Combo Platter and my Salmon Teriyaki were nothing to write home about. The former was a sea of beige, with everything tasting bland and about the same. The Salmon was slightly overcooked and rested on a bed of onions. The Teriyaki Sauce was subtle or vague in the background. We were both served small bowls of white rice that stuck together and was devoid of any seasoning. While I respect the Japanese passion for fresh ingredients, presentation and focus on healthy food, I don't want to die of boredom. I will leave it to the afficianados to appraise the quality of their sushi bar. There was nothing on our plates that would tempt us to hurry back..

Read the prior reviews before ordering but thought we'd give them a try. Ordered Pu-Pu Platter for 2 and Pork Fried Rice. The only thing we thought was decent were the fried chicken wings. Everything else thumbs down. Egg roll was orange inside??? and didn't care for the filling. Chicken fingers were mostly all dough, and steak strips were tough and fatty. Rice gummy. As you can tell we were not impressed.

Alo Saigon is a traditional Vietnamese restaurant with great quality food for a decent price. We have a variety selection of desserts, drinks, and entrees.
One of the few good things that came out of our Vietnam War are plenty of hard working Vietnamese who have made a stake in our country. They also brought with them their wonderful cuisine. Alo Saigon continues to offer wholesome and attractive food at a very modest price. You can sit in the cheerful if a bit spartan restaurant, or as many do, order take out. The menu is fairly extensive and everything we have tried is first rate. It continues to be one of the better choices in a town that sadly is not a restaurant mecca.

Wok on the Water is another of the Han restaurant group that currently dominates the Granby Ct food scene and unfortunately, this place doesn't rise up to the same level as the other locations. We stopped here while on our boat for an afternoon snack (nice perk - dock for boats) with 2 adults and 2 kids. Beer was pricey ($5 for a draft bud light - cheaper for a bottle!) apps were very small portions (avoid nachos - about 15 tortillas with very little cheese and weird sour cream that was more like milk), edamame had no salt or oil on them, and the special bruschetta app (that we asked for pancetta on the side but came on top) was disappointing to say the least! The only thing we liked was the French fries, but we had to ask multiple times for extra ketchup. Its an odd menu - confused a bit. They have a really weird collection of menu items -like they are trying to cover all the bases. Sushi (which is good), raw bar items, a bunch of asian entrees, salads, burgers - and a selection of......tacos! Service was slow but our server was sweet. It feels like they are disorganized, and staff was wandering around not getting anything done. Unfortunately, $95 later, we left hungry. We probably won't be rushing back here anytime soon.

Did lunch there recently and it was probably my last time. There were only 3 or 4 tables occupied, but the waiter did not seem up to the task. Fried rice was cold...meaning not made fresh and tasted off. Chicken fingers were greasy and undercooked, boneless ribs were rubbery. Fried wontons were still good though....
