Reviews on Asian food in Sitka, Alaska, United States. The city of Sitka, located on Baranof Island along the Alaska Panhandle, was once the capital of Russian America. Nearby Sitka National Historical Park was established to commemorate the Battle of Sitka in 1804, the last major conflict between Europeans and the native Alaskans. The park now helps preserve the culture of the Tlingit people, as well as the Russian and American settlers, with collections of rare artifacts, the preserved remains of the Tlingit fort and a Russian Bishop's House.

Ate here twice in two days so between two of us we had five dishes. We special ordered spring rolls that were veggie only, they were quite good. Had veggie and tofu pho, my husband had the chicken pho both Soups were really good. Then had lunch, my husband had the curry lunch special that was good. I had tofu and veggies which was okay. I would stick with the pho if you want better than so so. They seem abut stingy with the tea. Service is fantastic. They do a huge takeaway business. Prices are very reasonable.

There is one in Juneau and now one in sitka
Good restaurant. Standard Chinese and Japanese fare. Mongolian beef, Kung Pao chicken, Yakisoba, Pot Stickers, bento box, things like that. Nothing over-the-top, yet all good eats. I would have given this 3.5 stars, but that wasnât an option so I rounded up. Lunch menu, $12-15 including tip.

We were wandering about Sitka after a day of fishing, looking for something to eat. This was very close to our lodging, so we went in for some Shrimp Tempura, miso soup and noodles. Everything was delicious. The shrimp were served with a sauce that really enhanced the shrimp. We couldn't wait for more, so we went the next night, and had takeout the next night in our room

I really enjoy the food here. The service is somewhat unpredictable, but the food is always spot on! This trip I had the Chicharon and a order of the Lumpia Shanghai, both were exceptional! I stay at the Super 8 Hotel when I am in town and Sizzling Chow is just down the street and a convenient location for a walk or a stop on the way in from the airport. I will be back again as I always do when I visit Sitka.
